Let's not understate how hard it must have been for him to quit college in his FINAL semester to pursue trading. A legend in the making, pushing away all the douters and nay sayers. I love so much how people can be open & honest now about not having to “technically”blow an account to become an FTMO trader. If you have the skill & mindset, that’s all that’ll matter at the end of the day.💯Last yr or 2 yrs ago, if someone said that, they’d get so much hate, so I love the turn around and how ppl can now see the possibilities. Not everyone has to take the same route to success💯

I read alot of comments talking about he should go back to uni to ensure he has a backup plan. When you are really really and I mean really hungry and focused on succeeding there will never be a plan B, you physically are not able to imagine a scenario where it doesn't work so no don't listen to anyone ever telling you about having a plan B. People who talk about a plan B have not have that all or nothing experience. NEVER leave room in your mind for failure.

I had the same problem with going out too fast, then I just moved the SL a little bit higher (let's say if I reached 3%, I moved it to 2% and then I was more relaxed and wait a little longer). And sometimes you can earn a lot when keep adjusting your SL because if you are on a strong trend, the price will chill before it returns (i don't know if all pairs are behaving like this), so if it just bounces at one point, it's a possibility that he reached his limit, so it's a chance to exit at a better time.

“ Envision yourself making it, getting there with so much detail that it feels you have already gotten there. But remember, do it from the enthusiasm, love and joy you feel inside. Not from fear. “ That is the way to thanking God in advance for something you are materializing a little bit every day. Exactly like this guy is doing here. It might seem that it is a little too soon for this guy to have an account this big… or that he is still too emotional and obsessed with wanting to trade all day, but the fact that he is doing it from the bottom of his heart and coming from the excitement of “what his trading career can be” instead of from “what I am going to lose if I don’t make it”, that he will surely get away with it, keeping his account for a long time : ) Never try to believe in yourself from fear. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF FROM THE JOY YOU FIND IN THE BOTTOM OF YOUR HEART. Cheers everyone.

this kid seems like he's got a really good head on his shoulders. I think he's going to go really far, plus he's so young! he has so much potential! Good luck! What an inspiration! I need someone like this to help me stay accountable for my own trading! And what truth he speaks about envisioning yourself where you want to be. Visualization is so important and so much more effective than most people believe. Repeat your affirmations and your mantras and you will go far. I want to make a KZbin channel. Haha! that's out of left field....really don't know where that came from, but maybe I should do it, I'm shy and there are things I need to get done in my life, but maybe I should really make it a priority... Edit: Weird! I wrote that part of my comment about KZbin before he started talking about posting on social media himself! It's like I'm psychic! Or something.....haha.

Man I average about 5% monthly ,but in the challenge you got to risk more, that’s why it’s called a challenge,when I was up 4% on the account I risked 2% and that’s how I was able to pass.
@captainsporty33682 жыл бұрын
@@giorgosxristopoulos3631 Risking 2-3℅ per trade is not problem for me because my winrate is 85℅ with deviation of around 5℅.What causes problem for me in this challenge is spread they get widen up 30-100 pips and it usually equate to 1-1.5 R of my position so say if my position is in drawdown of -1.8℅ and spread get widen than this will toch -5℅ mark easily and it causes problem for me. Spread are the villian in my story.

@FTMOcom2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike Martin, During the FTMO Challenge and Verification, you can keep your position open overnight and over the weekend as well. However, once you become an FTMO Trader and manage an FTMO Account, we require you to close your positions just before the markets close for the weekend or if the rollover (market break) is longer than 2 hours. Our FTMO Traders having the FTMO Account must respect the market timings. Every asset class and its respective instruments might have different trading hours that have to be adhered to. If you would like to learn more you can visit our FAQ page ftmo.com/en/faq/do-i-need-to-close-my-positions-overnight/ or the Symbols site ftmo.com/en/symbols-trading-updates/ Thank you for your question, and do not hesitate to contact us again.

Just trading one pair is hard to stick with
@nicholasduffus13752 жыл бұрын
Not at all. It’s the temptation of the possibilities from other pairs that make it hard. If you stick with one pair you eliminate a lot of potential downside and noise. You also understand that there are set times you can find opportunities. I suggest pairs like GU, NU, AU, GJ, UJ, EJ, anything that has 2 currencies in different time zones which will offer a couple ops throughout the day. Pairs like USDCAD wouldn’t offer many ops throughout the day just NY session. Good luck!
