Wow, amazing. They found CEP85L in my gens. I got some symptoms when I was 17 and now I am 31 years old. I'm lucky I made that gentest not earlier!!! 🎉

My 10 year old has Lissencephaly, we underwent genetic testing whem we first found out. A gene deletion on the Lis1 gene was found, I wonder if this gene they found is in Addition to the already known mutations that cause Liss, or if this is completely unconnected gene that causes it on its own... 🤔 Cant wait to ask our geneticist.. Amazing that we can now pinpoint these things down to the gene for a disease that was only diagnosed through autopsy a generation ago..

There's no cure for lissencephaly but there's available medication to treat their seizures. Look for a neuro-pediatrician. They will ask for you to get your baby's seizure monitored. Write them how long the seizures last and how many times a day. Better take a video of it to show the doctor. Hoping your baby will have the applicable medicine for him /her

A little late to the party. But I got 4 kids. My oldest has lss. She's 13. None of my other 3 suffer from any mental disorder. But as a parent who has gone / going through this. Therapies Therapies Therapies. Speech, occupational and physical Therapies. Have made a world of difference. But end of the day just hug your kids let them know they're loved.
