That looks ideal! I have an old FTX Mauler, which I don't really use so much now I have a TRX4 Sport. Maybe doing something like this with mine will be fun, especially since I now have a 3D printer arriving soon :-) Maybe a large military truck type body would look good.

This is seriously impressive, I've been wanting to do this for ages as I dislike the original body. I have a couple questions though; 1. did you just print it straight off the downloadable files? 2. are all of the pieces just glued together? 3. did you encounter any major problems? Thanks.

@@matthewcutler8190 it doesnt matter if its ur design or not buddy as u aint selling it all your doin is a print and build video as long as u mention that the design isnt urs and were they can get it ur good to go buddy be awesome to see how it all goes together im gonna start doin my prints tonight if i can lol

@@theriddler3845 true, but to be honest the print glues together well, only the front wings are a bit tricky. What chassis are you putting it on?

@@theriddler3845 i printed it so that it was stood up, hinge side on the bed and used a brim to provide a bit more support. Seemed to work ok😁

Hmm bit tricky to explain, may have to try and upload some images somewhere so you can see, could do that on the thingiverse make page if that makes sense?

@@matthewcutler8190 yeah that would be amazing as i have the main frame printed filled n preped ready for paint but dont want to paint till figured out how to mount u can catch me on fb under nifage gaming if thats easier for u bud

Ok just chucked some new pics onto thingivrrse, the front simply sit over the top of the body mount, the rear uses the rear body mounts but coming out of the small rear bumper if that makes sense. Not a perfect solution as the body can move a bit on the front, would probs try and come up with a magnet solution and 3d.print some of my own mounts next.
