Actually the servo and speed controler is water proof. Other electrics might be splash proof but the model shop i got it from is a fully licened FTX retailer and thats the info they gave. Plus i have had this for over a year now and regularly submerse it deeper than all electrics with no issues at all. The only thing i upgraded for this was the battery termials.
