most important mod imo are rims and tyres. i got beadlock rims with messing rings in the front wheels for weight and tyres with diameter 140mm and width of 40mm. cost about CHF 70 and turns that crawler into thing outcrawling most heavily modded scalers for 1/4th the price

they are pretty capable trucks to be fair, mine is still stock apart from tyres, changed them and made it lots better than it already was. but yea definitely agree the mud didn't help 🤣👍

What battery in the Ravine? I heard a guy put a 2s Lipo 50c in and the esc smoked right away. I'm gonna try a 35c 2s in mine when it arrived and hope for the best!

yes I heard that so was a bit scared to try it , I use a 2s 2500mah 25c , they are actually drone batteries so they are nice and small but last hours. just for info the stock battery lasts around an hour :)

Great vid very capable rc, Did you continue to use lipo as i wasnt sure if it would cut off or run lipo to flat. Just bought a ravine so making my way through some of your mods👍👍👍

thanks bud, yes it's surprisingly good especially at the price, the best way to make it lots better is just changing the tyres. I've not changed anything else as such it's all still running stock . it does cut out but I've only ever managed to run it flat once.. even the stock battery lasts around an hour which to be fair is what I run it on most of the time. they are great trucks, hope you enjoy it 😃👍

The new tyres that I have on my Ravine are very similar in tread pattern to those tyres on the TRX-4.

I have a wraith-Capra and a ravine and the ravine for £95 is just amazing , I’m looking for tyres with more grip and it will then hold its own

I was put off buying this ravine due to its price but they are good and this being stock i was well happy with it :) done a few bits since this to the tyres and they are much better 😀👍

You're not the greatest driver of the ravine you did it once just stepped back about two more feet and have a running start on that dirt portion of Hill you would have made it up...
