Foot prosthesis with tattos gives Nicole more quality of life
Nicole loses most of her left foot in a serious motorcycle accident. Before she was fitted with a silicone prosthesis, Nicole was often subjected to shocked looks in her village, which put a great strain on the young woman. However, since she has been wearing a silicone forefoot prosthesis, a new phase of life has begun for Nicole. She feels more comfortable in her skin and, in addition to everyday life, can also engage in sporting activities such as cycling or swimming.
When manufacturing her prosthesis, care was taken to retain Nicole's original shoe size and to exactly replicate the shape of her toes and toenails. The result not only looks deceptively real, but can even be colored with nail polish. Because Nicole loves tattoos, she asked her tattoo artist to tattoo not only her legs, but also her prosthetic foot. According to Nicole, the tattooed prosthesis has helped her regain her self-confidence and live a happy life again.

Silicone can be used successfully with almost any type of foot defect. Thanks to the material’s smooth, resilient and cushioning properties, excellent solutions can be found even in the most difficult cases.
The combination of different hard silicones ensures an optimal fit of the foot or toe prosthesis. The outstanding adhesive properties of the silicone material also make closures and fasteners unnecessary.
The individual color design and modeling of a toe shape enable those affected to wear ready-made and open shoes inconspicuously. As the silicone is water-resistant, the prosthetic foot can also be worn while bathing and swimming.
