I could definitely see this being helpful for deep hole drilling as well where you want to start the drill at a slow RPM and feed close to the bottom of the pilot hole before going to full feed and rpm

more finishing integration in dynamic ops? specifically 2d dynamic mill?

I noticed a couple of things about the resulting NC code: Except for the initial approach, the .05 retract is meaningless. The pecking is retracting to zero for the top segment, and to -.909 for the bottom segment. Also, it is feeding through every peck twice. There is no parameter to have it rapid return to a point closer to where it left off? . . . Say maybe .01" or .02" above?

Hey there! The ability to rapid plunge close to (0.01" above) the previous peck depth has been added to the Advanced Drill Toolpath in Mastercam 2022. Stay tuned for more info on its release here!

Okay, I did this at work today and your sample code matches mine. Even with the coolant on it turns it off after the first peck. Will this be fixed? I hate having to hand edit not hard but I can long code it with a calculator and get a reasonable result.
