If you get caught pretending that you were injured by an illegal blow, that never landed, you should be banned for life. This should apply to every sport. More UFC related, how many times has a title been lost after an eye poke? At least a few that I can think of. Those fights should be stopped and recorded as no contest.

I just watched the ProBox card last night, and the ref for the main event was doing the same thing as the ref in the second fight here. He had the hurt fighter hold up his gloves, then had him walk to the left, then walk to the right, then he let him continue. I'm wondering if this is something that was recently implemented for the refs to make sure the fighters are actually okay to continue. The Rumsey win in the 4th fight is the second fight ending ear injury I've seen in bare knuckle. The first was even worse than this one, as the fighter's ear was literally hanging half way off of his head. Wow, the main event was a total dud of a fight. This happens so often, on paper it looks like an exciting fight to watch, then it isn't. Masson-Wong was not their to fight. She clinched every chance she got instead of using her usual fighting style that got her to this fight. And how the hell are these judges seeing an opposite fight? 49-46 for each fighter? Makes no sense.

@@marcd1981 I mean there's some referees discretion but that ain't anything that's new.. boxing knockdowns they grab the gloves and brush them on their shirts to get off any dust or debris from the canvas but that's unnecessary with no gloves. They will always watch the fighters eyes ask them if they're good and then they'll either say walk towards me or step over here and may give secondary direction if they're uncertain..
