Makes sense. The newcomers felt the squeeze of going against a high-tier team while the experienced ones had the burden of covering for said newcomers. Things were more level for the Stars, there's less skill gap between the players.

as someone who has played overwatch this was a very lucky timing considering that astel has just panic used his coach gun, miyabi didn't use outburst to get out of danger and the both of them reacted a bit late to the dva bomb. Izuru failed to even notice the bomb in the first place.(or he just didn't know you can still use fade while in coalescence)

ICYMI the results between them, Hololive 0-3 Holostars 1st Game : Holostars won by huge difference even though it's 4v5 with Astel having a bit technical difficulties. 2nd Game : Holostars won by 3-2 with Holostars take lead by 2-0 then Hololive comeback with 2-2 and the 2nd Game ended with Holostars won 3-2, thanks because of Aruran's annoying Hamster www 3rd Game : Holostars won both attacking and defending. Overall summary for Holostars: Too cracked with Astel & Izuru carrying. No comments, they already professionals to begin with. Overall summary for Hololive : Botan FPS skills is a no secret, she already showed it in the game, Towa's best leading as usual, Chloe and Lui's potential and Irys was not feeling up her game but can become a good support.

Fair assessment. The Stars, Astel and Izuru in particular, are just juicers, and on the Live side, there's only so much you can do with two greenhorns. Chloe and Lui have potential but you can't beat ingrained game sense and unspoken team coordination.

She had to be tank, because no one else in the Live side was good at the game enough to be tank in her place. It's always the experienced player that goes tank to keep a push or defense cohesive. Even then, it was such a diff that Botan had a worse K/D ratio than the supports of Stars. Nothing she could do.

its not so easy since they lost 5v4. that missing person was astel and they still lost. botan and towa were even shocked when they realized.

Not really, because OW2 is a team game, and the boys played OW2 together more. Their coordination as a team was thus better. That's why they won first map despite Astel's tech issues and dominated the other two maps. Botan is really good, but her team's coordination was kinda chaotic and three of her teammates (Lui, Chloe, and IRyS) also aren't as used to OW2 competitively. Astel is also really good, and the skill gaps between the boys weren't as big. For a solo DPS to carry that hard, the enemy team has to really be significantly deficient in either teamwork and/or have massive skill gaps between its players-and the Stars weren't that.
