Alas, something this set and a lot of other touhou remixers (and music enthusiasts alike) forgets about are the stage themes- there are some themes which get totally overlooked because they are not any character in particular's theme. For example, PCB's fourth stage theme. Mein gott that is an atmospheric and all-round awesome track, but who gives a crap? Precisely no-one.

I agree so much. One of my very favorite themes is Paradise- Deep Mountain, the stage one theme of PCB. Well, this circle started including stage themes along the line, just not here.

hakurei reimu has yin yang orbs that give her powers and uses the power of gods(who use her as a vessel). marisa uses chemicals and the mini-hakkero to shoots stuff. sanae uses her 2 gods to do stuffs and has become part god cus of it. youmu is only half human. sakuya idk, i think she's a legendary vampire hunter(?) mokou drank the hourai elixer which allows her to defy reality(?). everyone else is some form of youkai, god, or celestial.

Some men do. Myouren Hijiri, Byakuren's brother had Buddhist magic, Rinnosuke has the ability of "Knowing the name and utility of tools" (Though he is half youkai...And it isn't exactly an amazing power), and Genjii can fly! Also Unzan who has the ability of "Changing shape and size at will". I guess the would have danmaku too, but they are just more peaceful than the women, and see little need to use them.

Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya draw power from objects and relics (the yin orbs, hakkero, and pocket watch that Sakuya always has on her) although I am not positive on all of this information (or spelling) and would appreciate additions to this post containing more information

Wrong. Reimu she has the power of flight. By flight, I mean unable to be bound by anything. She can severe herself from the fabrics of reality and float into a separate dimension. She uses the Yin Yang orbs and talismans as means of attack. True, she can call upon gods to use her as a vessel but she has only used this ability in the manga, Silent Sinner in the Blue.

Boss in stages are Letty (stage 1), Chen(stage 2), Alice (stage 3 - a witch living in the same jungle with Marisa, probably childhood friend of Marisa and Reimu), tripe band (stage 4), Youmu (stage 5-Samurai Girl- hafl human hafl ghost), Yuyuko (stage 6-final boss-owner of Youmu- a beautiful ghost), Ran(a shikigami - boss of Chen(stage 2)) and Yakumo Yukari(the creator of Gensokyo where the story in touhou is depicted - owner of both Ran and Chen-considered as the strongest youkai in Gensokyo) Each Touhou patch has its own character and setting, however you can consider Reimu and Marisa as protagonists, who solve the "incident"... (because they appeared in every patch). Last but not the least, Gensokyo is the heaven of lesbianism (lol). I'm a big fan of Touhou because of this. You can find doujinshi about Touhou in Dynasty scan
