I don’t understand the logic of music being haram. The world is filled with music of every kind. Look at the birds, animals in land as well as water. If you can’t be appreciative of the artist then at least don’t discourage them.

@@namratasoreng2922it’s haram cuz its addictive and it takes u away from reality, and wastes your time and distracts you. Just like rn I have my exams in few days my books are open but I am on loop listening to these songs, because I’m addicted… and I end up getting no work done. Basically anything like alcohol, drugs, music, nach gana, porn etc which makes u addicted, makes u lose your sense and awareness of surroundings, wastes your time and deviates you from your original path is considered bad in Islam. People assume that there is no life without such things, but that’s wrong there is so much more to do in this beautiful world rather than being a slave to these things. And giving up all your precious time to these things… also Of course listening to music is not as bad as doing drugs, but it’s still not good. In todays world it’s really hard to avoid such things, but those with a strong mind and will can overcome anything. I feel bad and guilty for wasting my time on these dramas and music when I literally have very important exams coming up.. I’m trying my best to limit all these time wasting activities. But Allah is the most merciful which puts me to ease, he is ready to forgive all our sins even if we just have tiny bit of regret. Non of us are perfect Muslims, if we all were perfect than what will there be left in this world to do? What will Allah forgive us for if we do everything right? Allah told us what’s wrong and what’s right, we make the judgment, if it’s do wrong Allah will forgive us if we realize it and repent. So please don’t get the wrong idea of Islam from all these extremists! Islam is a fair, beautiful and peaceful religion.

@@namratasoreng2922also anything natural is not haram… when it says music is haram it means loud instrumental music, and singing bad things…. Like using curse words etc Appreciating the sound of nature is the best thing u can do! Allah loves that! Even singing / hymning good things (without music) is beautiful and is allowed. For example you can listen to beautiful nasheed like “mera dil badal de by Junaid Jamshed”
