Warrior's best friend through out the game is vegetable soup. It gives 1pt of stamina every sceond for 720 seconds which means you can do an infinite ammount of power attacks within those 720 seconds. So never leave home without vegetable soup. It also easy to make since all you need is potatoes, leeks, tomatos and cabbages.

Something Bethesda should have added is the ability to open locks without using lockpicks. For warriors, the ability to either pry open locks (using one handed) or bash open locks (using 2 handed, with a chance to destory certain items in a chest). Another would be for smiths to upgrade armor and weapons (for a steadily increasing fee).

I think my favorite thing about playing a pure warrior is how much less crowded my favorites menu ends up being vs other playstyles. Aside from shouts, you dont have much to switch around between, unlike a mage which is loaded with spells or a thief which usually for me ends up loaded with various poisons to apply on the fly.

Yes, the main reason why I like warriors (sword and shield, especially) is that the pace of game is a lot faster. You don't have to skulk around trying not to be detected, nor use a plethora of abilities to have relevance in the fights. You just pick a strong weapon with a strong enchantment and go around killing things.

It just seems impractical to NOT get your Sneak skill up to at least 60-70. That will happen if you just sneak around lots of places instead of walking. And that isn't even a "too slow" kind of hindrance all that much if you're still new enough where you still rely on using your eyeballs to scan your surroundings for enemies or chests or traps. I don't have them ALL memorized yet, lololol.

Here's my favorite build... Knight Race: Nord Skills: Enchanting, Smithing, Heavy Armor, Two-handed, Archery, Speech Stat Spread: 80% Health, 20% Stamina Armor: Ebony with Silver Moonstone Circlet enchanted with fortify archery, armor is enchanted with health, stamina, and fortify two-handed, amulet and rings enchanted with elemental resistances and resist magic. Melee Weapons: Elven Greatsword with Chaos damage, Bloodskal Blade, Dawnguard Runehammer, or Champion's Cudgel (I disenchanted for Chaos damage enchantment) Ranged Weapons: Elven Bow with Chaos Damage, Dwarven Enhanced Crossbow with Chaos Damage and explosive bolts (fire, frost, and shock) Standing Stone: Lovers Stone as well as Lord or Atronach stone for mages and dragons.

This is a great guide. One thing that I want to contribute is that the amount of xp you get from crafting things (smithing, enchanting, alchemy) is determined by how much money the finished item is worth. As a result, making jewellery, especially using flawless gems will level of smithing really fast. Fortify sneak, fortify carry weight, and fortify archery are probably the three most valuable enchantments, and as a rule of thumb the more effects a brewed potion has the more valuable it will be. I'm playing the Arcane Warrior rn and currently I'm grinding up my levels by getting my hands on as much iron ore as I can find, transmuting it up to gold with the transmute ore spell (levels alteration), making the gold into jewellry (levels smithing, even though I'm not really using it, the xp is nice) using the gems I collect while mining (after using all of my gems I forge the rest of the gold into gold rings. It's the most efficient because you get two rings for one ingot which works out to more money per ingot than gold necklaces, thus more xp), enchanting the crafted jewellry, as well as any loot I gathered (levels enchanting) and then selling the enchanted goods (levels speech). You can also add alchemy into the mix, but since I'm not using it it would just be a lot of trouble to go to just for some xp. This can be really useful if you want to bypass all of the levelling and just get to the roleplay. It can be frustrating to have a character who is supposed to have spent his whole life learning to be a badass but then you have to learn everything from scratch just because the imperials took your stuff at Helgen.

The Lord stone is useless late game because it's easy to cap out armour rating and you're only left with the 25%magic resistance but the 50% spell absorption is better than that from the atronarch stone

Vilajeet Samon True, but the Lord stone works better on some character builds, aka daedra conjurers. The spell absorption can swallow your summons, meaning you have to redo the spells you just tried to cast. Also, by the time you're done with leveling to trade in the Warrior/Mage/Thief/Lover stone for something else, you'll most likely have enchanted gear that already resists like 50% of all magic. So no matter if you add the 25% res of the Lord stone or the 50% chance of the Atronach, you'll end up with 75% total magic res. I kinda find it funny that the Atronach stone is the worst stone for players who want to summon artonachs.

I find the steed stone to be the most useful. It's basically the conditioning perk plus you get 100 extra carrying capacity. Useful for all the armor and weapons you're lugging around

I have a two handed tip for my warrior brothers out there. If u cant decide on a two handed weapon, go for great swords. They are the fastest, use less stamina, and don't weigh as much. The battle axe and war hammer only do a few more points of damage so there's really not much of a difference.

I'm curious what the difference in damage become between a greatsword, a battleaxe, and a warhammer once you have all five relevant 2-handed damage perks activated and you've therefore leveled two-handed to at least 80. So far I haven't played a 2H build yet though.

Berserker rage is even more overpowered when you combine that with Elemental fury, one of the shouts you learn in the game which makes your weapon attack speed faster. With both of those combined you can wipe out a whole group of enemies in seconds with the Orc race.

My favorite kind of warrior is a stamina buff/powerhouse. Constantly bashing and power attacking is really fun and in my opinion more interesting than the standard stand still hit it till' it's dead kind of playstyle. It also rewards good gameplay as if you time your bashes and power attacks perfectly you are a god on the battlefield; this is also why I like to be a Redguard... if you're skilled while using Adrenaline Rush you're nearly invisible. I also use The Lady + Light Armor for maximum stamina regeneration which means more power attacks and bashes.

Stamina also increases your carry weight, which makes up for your heavy ass armor early on. Choose a rating that you want to increase your stamina up to, depending on what your play style is, then stop increasing it once you feel you've got enough. ~200 is good for a battle mage, you may want more if you're say a dual wielder.

I don't agree with Breton being the second best warrior race. Orc is definitely no. 1 but it think that Nord is No. 2. While 25% resistance to magic is beneficial to every character especially warrior as mages are your main enemy. But the weakness of a warrior is frost magic and Nords cut the damage of that in half. Nords also have better skill bonuses and dismay can be used throughout most of the game to eliminate the lesser enemies instantly allowing you to focus on the Chiefs, Adepts, Deathlords, Matrons and Skulkers.

I also agree with this comment. Assuming we're talking about a pure warrior, you're going to be investing far more levels into health than other arch-classes. This means that you can shrug off more damaging spells like fire. Lightning is of little consequence as it'll do less damage than fire and it's secondary effect is useless on a pure Warrior. Also if you're playing a more defensive warrior, you're shield will eventually reduce magic attacks.

My first play through as a young 13 year old kid was as a duel wield dagger assassin and later an archer assassin. I then switched over to purely archer on my 2nd play through. On my 3rd and final a few years later, I never finished as I tried doing a mage but wasn’t having fun anymore. I might pick this back up all these years later and run a warrior! Because of the 567 armour cap, most warriors should wear light armour by mid/end game. With even moderate skill in Smithing, some smithing potions/enchants and a perk or two in Light Armour (1 Agile Defender and 1 Custom Fit), you will hit 567 easy, you also can get things like Wind Walker which gives you more sprinting (which you can use to close range with foes) and power attacks, and is a great quality of life perk for moving around Skyrim, and may allow you to spend fewer points (or less enchants) on Stamina and put more into Health or Magicka. Deft Movement also adds 11% chance (not 10% like the description says) to avoid ALL PHYSICAL damage, including arrows (giving you a total effective physical resistance of 91% with the armour cap). That also doesn't need to break roleplaying, as you can roleplay as a Berserker/Barbarian. Also Dual Wielding puts out the best DPS numbers in the game if you know how to use it right (check out pms00 dual wield guide for more) and is almost certainly the most powerful way to play melee at mid/end game, but if you prefer 2h or 1h/shield for fun or roleplay, go for it. Also I'm not sure about your claim about Mehrune's Razor (pms00 claims many artefact daggers have the speed of a sword). Block is overrated at endgame (with full armour cap with even light armour), but some endgame Block perks are fun but glitchy. Block perks can also be useful to people who use 2h weapons. If you acquire stamina regen food, Adrenaline Rush loses most of its value (especially if you also have Wind Walker).

josh wring Yeah, but you want stamina to sprint, use bow zoom and block (unsure if you only need 1 stam to block). Stealth players also chain silent rolls for sweet OPness (as someone put it, "you become a stealthy Sonic Hedgehog of death"). Lots of stamina to sprint is both a quality of life thing (move around Skyrim faster) and pretty important for many melee builds to close range with attackers.

Warrior 101: The Build: Orc | Lord/Atronach Stone | Heavy armor | 2 Handed Warhammer OR Sword/Mace & Shield I cannot help with specific skill tree builds, since I use an extended skill tree mod. However, prioritize block and one handed perks, if your playthrough doesn't need to be glitchless/clean, use a glitch to make upgrading equipment easier. It's better to use a unique weapon if you are not maxed on enchanting/smithing, if not then I like a chaos damage dragonbone mace. (With dual enchantment perk, add whatever you want) Playstyle: Learn how to time shield bashes, and learn what you can stagger and what you can't. If you're fighting 1 person... JUST BE GOOD AT THE GAME. When dealing with multiple opponents, shield charge in and sweep the weaker enemies, then activate your ability, switch to a CC shout and deal with the rest of the opponents 1 by 1. (Push 1 back, hit the other) goddamit I spent all this time typing about a dead vanilla game

thief is nothing to special, why pickpocket people when you can just loot their corpse? haha however being a sneak assassin is hell loads of fun and makes you feel like a god because you can clear an entire dungeon out no problem even dungeon bosses you can shoot from a far as they search around for you. mage would be this game's hard mode, warrior is medium, and sneak is easy mode. still really fun though depends what you want out of the game. sometimes easy can be what is fun about it just like old school game cheat codes. not everything has to be challenging every minute to get joy out of it.

If you are dual-wielding I recommand using the ghost blade in the speed determining hand. It only has a weight of one and has a unique and infinite enchantment that makes it ignore a bit of armour and also deal bonus damage. I think you can also enchant it yourself, because it´s more of an active effect and doesn´t count as an enchantment. For the other hand just bring some heavy damage dealer, maybe a mace or a waraxe. It´s also a good Idea to enchant weapons for dual wielding with absorb health and stamina, to be able to powerattack more often and compensate the lack of blocking capability. If you want to use two-handet weapons the best choice early on is the longhammer, a special warhammer that swings way faster and later the ebony blade, a daedric artifact with a unlimited absorb health enchantment, I think this channel did a tutorial on how to get it...

For those who want some two-handed warriors you can get the Bloodskall Blade or Volendrung if you prefer one-handed you can take as a shield a Spellbreaker, a Ysgramor's shield or Targe of the Blooded and as one handed you can choose Blade, Mace, Axe or Dagger for the Blade you can have a Windshear mace you can take the Molag'bal one and for Dagger you can get a Meh'runez, but fudge is right play what you think will be the best item for you. (Btw sorry if i had problems with my english, i am half-romanian so i don't know pretty much english)

Dude, can you pick a different standing stone beside the lover or atronach. I used Fudgemuppet dragon priest guide and I kept the lover stone and instead of cultist robes I use Miraak's robes. Way better. He's builds are great but I do recommend you tweak them a bit for your individual style.

You also can steal a Elven Greatsword from the companions early on Just go to the room where you talk to the guy to enter the guild and sneak on top of the case with the weapon and they will not be able to see you (even if you are in plain sight, its kind of a glitch i think). Then just lockpick the case (it's a expert level lock), steal it and thats it sorry for the bad english btw

Another nice video guys and I am surprised that you mentioned Wuuthrad but not the Ebony Blade, Longhammer or Volendrung as none of these 2 handed weapons use up a lot of stamina due to their light weight or in the case of Volendrung its absorb stamina effect. Volendrung is also a good way to level up enchanting simply because the effect needs to be recharged once in a while. All in all a good build guy. It is worth noting that blocking with a 1 handed or 2 handed weapon or block bashing with weapons counts toward your block skill and is affected by your block skill so even without a shield you are still usingand leveling the block skill.

When you level up, you can put points into Stamina, Magicka or health. Therefore, you want to put 70% of your points into one option. E.g. Once you reach level ten, you would have 170 stamina, 130 health and 100 magicka, as each stat starts of at 100.

Change your screen settings on your tv as much as you can see to do. I have an xbox so I don't know what the ps4 has but I'm sure it has some sort of screen fit thing as well somewhere in the console menu stuff. Aside from that what fixed my screen issues was the fact that I was playing on hdmi or whatever instead of game because apparently those have default settings for screen size and stuff. Also try turning off anything called overfit or over-something on the tv or console (which might also be related to the setting on the tv to even get the option to change it)

For Two-handed warriors: Charging and doing a power attack is a great way to murder whoever was dumb enough to stand in your way. You don't need much stamina for it, (especially after you get conditioning) and you'll have one less enemy to fight. Also, Berserker Rage+Werewolf=Everything dies.

Breton: One-Handed, Block, Restoration., Enchanting, Light Armour, Smithing (light only). 30/40/20 (Magicka, Health, Stamina). the basic idea is to go in the fight and if you need to head fall back and pull out the healing later on restoration make you're a menace to the undead. light armour is for speed and manoeuvrability. more of a paladin style but a lovely idea for a build that I might try out. stones: Lover/Lady to start Atronach once your at the levels your want or have enough HP and stamina to gain the spell absorption. sorry guys for pimping out a build I designed on the fly.

When I go out from helgen, I always go to the left to a cabin you see on the map. It's like one or two enemies there inside, but then there is a secret door behind the bookshelf in the basement, in there it's alot of enemies. It's quite the challenge sometimes though, but if you kill them all you get some XP and can loot alot of chests and enemies with some good gear to use yourself or sell and get money. Light armor is good to sell, especially chestpices since they don't weigh that much and you get a fair amount of money for them, for example leather chestpice weigh say 7, and you can sell for 70-80. An iron chestpice weighs lik 20 and you can sell for 120-200. Take three leathers and you have 21 in weight and you can sell all of it for 240 instead of on for 150. These aren't exact numbers, but I think I am fairly close if i remember correctly. And of course you can't sell at full price, I know that.

really surprised you guys didn't mention vegetable soup! for a warrior its a must to always have it as it regenerates a certain number of health and stamina every second for 720 seconds, meaning you have unlimited power attacks/bashing while active. all the ingredients are around whiterun at the farms. leeks potato cabbage and tomato is all you need to be a BEAST!
