Just to clarify: the purpose of this video is not to show an amazing hair transplant transformation. The main objective is to share my personal experience with the people who are considering or are interested in having a hair transplant. As I noticed on KZbin a big majority of videos are showing just one side of the coin. That side which shows you a smooth road from few hair follicles to a full head of hair and a perfect hair line. And this, of course looks perfect on the screen but gives a wrong perception regarding the entire process. I struggle for years with hair loss, trying multiple products, loosing a lot of time and money without any result. Finally I went for a hair transplant procedure, expecting that this chapter will be permanently closed. But as you can see the final results is not what I hoped for. Everyone has their own story, mine looks like this. Cheers!

You actually don’t look bad after the transplant. But if I may throw out another opinion. You have a good head shape with an awesome beard... you could totally pull off bald and grow out the beard more. Not everyone can pull that look off, but I think you could.

I disagree. I think it is fine for what it is. Fine hair…Norwood Six …high color contrast…look dude..NO STRIP SCAR!! No FUT scar! Win, win, win…you can 1) bleach for a massive difference (and when you grey when older it will help too) , 2) use SMP to thicken it, then buzz or grow. 3) add more density with another FUE. Well, done..it’s thin. For sure but from where you started you did fine. And DONT get a strip scar for heavens sake. You have choices…

I appreciate the time you put into giving the month to month updates and the complete look around your head in full light. I've had a few hair transplants and people don't realize that one hair transplant isn't going to give you a full head of hair. I think for one session you received good coverage. If a surgeon packs too many grafts together it threatens the blood supply and you can lose hair follicles. Most men will need two or three hair transplants or an SMP session to improve density. By far the best hair transplant video I have gone through. The donor area looks perfect as if unharvested. The surgeon did a fantastic job there. I believe you cut your donor area hair area regularly to maintain uniformity with the harvested hair which I thought was an excellent idea. Hey man, do not listen to other people saying... Mmmmh it's not a big deal!! It is a great result. I can tell you that. I am 40 and I made 4 hair transplants in 14 years. I am a little bit prepared :-) First of all, we have take into account your hair situation pre-surgery: not so good. Secondly: we must evaluate number of available grafts in your donor area. It's a fundamental factor!!! Alopecia is a process that goes on despite of your hair transplant. That means you must preserv those graphs that you might still use for the future. Third: if you do not take meds, like finasteride or dutasteride, you could not slow hair loss. Trust me! *So, for all the reasons above, it's a great result !!!!! 100% honest*

If I were walking behind him, I would definitely have said to myself that this guy is going bald, which defeats the purpose because I’m certain this guy expected results that concealed the very purpose for opting to undergo the procedure in the first place. Looks good from certain angles, definitely not from the back. I’d suggest sporting maybe a crew cut where you trim the donor area to a 1" which would offset the look of thinning or complete balding from behind. Overall, looking good.. confidence resonating and felt on my end! 🤘🏾

Don't get discouraged. I didn't see what you looked like before and how much hair you had but it looks like you were pretty bald with almost no hair. Considering that, this is still a good result. Your hair is on the darker side and it's straight, while your skin is light, so that makes the thinness of the hair stand out more when looking down directly and with lighting. But overall it's not bad at all. Also, if your donor area still has grafts left to give, you could go for a second operation to add thickness, I would suggest mainly in the front and crown area. But if you do go for a second one, make sure you save for a good clinic as it might be your last chance. You could also consider skin micropigmentation to boost how thick the hair looks, and try finasteride plus minoxidil if you haven't yet. Also, shampoo with caffeine and/or coconut is really helpful.

This guy is Norwood 6 patient. Norwood six is very hard to deal with considering that he has limited donor. You cannot do miracles. HT cannot gice you the density you used to have especially when you have to cover all that area. However, he could use some fibers to enhance his look which would do great job since now he has a lot of hair for them to attach on. Most people do that after they get transplants. However, it would be more beneficial for him to not do a mega session. This way he would have been able to extract more grafts. He would build a good hairline an front area and he would also have more grafts to enhance the density of his crown.

Hair Line While the side effects are a bit overhyped, here's what you can do to minimize or eliminate any noticeable side effects: 1. Make sure you are prescribed the 1mg tablets and NOT the generic 5mg tablets that older men are prescribed for prostate issues. In order to have it covered under insurance, many will go ahead with the 5mg tablets, cut the pill in half and take 2.5mg every other day or two. DO NOT DO THIS because it may lead to experiencing the side effects you are concerned about. 2. Microdose by taking 1mg every other day. Studies have shown no significant difference in lower DHT blood serum levels if you take 1mg or 0.5mg daily. Contrast this dosing schedule to the one above. You'll be taking one tenth the prescribed amount for someone with prostate issues, and one half of the prescribed amount for someone who is looking to fight hair loss. I hope this helps...

He looks great. Hair transplants will not give you the hair you had in high school. Many people don't know it. His results are excellent.
@josebendude4 жыл бұрын
Not at all. That's a very bad transplant, it's not even close to amazing. if you see in the very beginning the placement of the grafts are very wide apart. It's very wide apart. You could never get thickness with such wide placing of grafts. As much as this is a cosmetic surgery and will look unnatural if observed closely his hairline is really bad and you can make out for sure that he's had a procedure.

I feel lucky with my natural personality. I am losing my hair and I immediately felt that being bald looks kinda tough/cool and went straight for the razor and never looked back. It's just a different look. Not better or worse IMO.

You will need 1 more procedure to see better results. But overall it looks great. If you shave your head using a Zero, do SMP. It will blend in perfectly. When you want it grown out, the SMP will fill in the thin spots and it will look darker!
@fettywap17384 жыл бұрын

I'm a barber dealing with my own hairloss as well, starting from what you had initially(borderline zero mm on top, front and rear) it's pretty obvious that you were going to need another transplant to cover the balding spot on the top after the first was done, cases like yours are hardly ever successful with only a single session. The procedure sucks and gets expensive, but the rewards are obviously worth it.

I just got a procedure done to lower my hairline I know I’m going to get great results because all I had was a receded hairline on the right side and slightly on the left for people who have more severe cases you need two Procedures to get full density . If he even haves grays left all tho I’ll take that look than being bald any day it’s better than nothing

Thanks for posting...I'd say the first 2 mos. looked painful to me and not much to be excited about. But after 80 days, it seems there's some nice growth. It's not bad considering that there was no hair in that area. At one year, there is a noticeable difference, with some light areas on the back....I hope you're hair keeps growing. But most of all, that you're a happier person!

@@HairLineChannel you may have enough grafts for another op or maybe try SMP? I'm not keen on SMP myself as don't like the idea of having to go back every couple of years to get it topped up!
@HairLineChannel4 жыл бұрын
@@RGT82-b4n I am not sure if I have enough grafts for a second session. As you see in the video my donor area has some over-harvested spots. SMP is still an option for me but as you mentioned going back each couple of years for repetitive procedure doesn't seem to excitement. Hope in the nearest future we will have some good alternatives.
