WTH you talking about Benny bodies this fool
@maxackerman11710 ай бұрын
I aint say he was better rapper than anyone. Benny ain't sign em to BSF cuz he thinks he an ok rapper. Benny can see this dude spittin bars that nobody else is even close to touching. Not when it comes to bars about living in a small grimey city full of drugs n all that's involved w that lifestyle. He doesn't ever over exegerate or blow it up out of proportion, his sayin some shit in his music that is so on point and really true but also so different than anybody else. Nobody makin tougher music bout the drug game rn than Base. Love Benny n his new album, all of Griselda and the labels they all created separately and all the other rappers they collaborate with, it's all fire and super proud they putting big Upstate NY on the map. I'm from Syracuse same as Stove God but even with all that when I listen to any bars Base spit and nobody is painting a realler picture then him on how it really is outside rn. I literally hear some lyrics and shit makes me remember a place, a person or a experience I've had. I'm just sayin Base on another level of if you know you know type shit. He talks about things nobody else even thinks of putting in songs. Base is talkin bout some shit nobody else even close to thinking about and its all so true and on point. I'm just sayin Base makin the toughest music when it comes to that shit rn and its not even a close race. Nobody sayin the shit this man's rappin bout. Not about how he making millions and flying his personal jet to the plugs mansion or whatever. He's talkin bout running out of narcan, junkies waiting in line to come into the bando cuz they only letting certain amount of em in at once, to boofin subs b4 Goin to jail, to Ronda slappin dudes arm to find a vein, to how she owe nothing so if we get caught it's her 1st offense get a good lawyer get on drug court or probation so she'll take the charge, to makin moves to a small town ot cuz u can charge more cuz it's not as available as it is in the city, like nobody is talkin about shit like that other than him. Not on every track, makin the whole shit revolve around it. It's some of the hardest shit I ever heard and the best part is it's so true I can literally picture situations and places I've been or the people I been with or shit I done that can relate to his lyrics. Nobody even close to makin music this pure and on point. It feels so creative and different cuz nobody else keeping it this real yet its so familiar and relatable cuz I can picture in my city the places n things he talkin about. All I'm sayin is Base is really really been outside like that and his music paints that picture for you so easily and clearly if u know u know. Other dudes got great music and all that but Base is rappin the toughest lyrics by far rn

I really do have love and respect for "Hartford CT" individuals that do their thing these days.Starting In the late end of the 90's into 2000's 2010's 2020's had smart cell phones, internet, college educated gotten video training making their own videos becoming known as rappers bringing their hustling homeboy's into the picture chopping it up! And I don't know 99% of those dudes and was born and raised in Hartford's NORTHEND since 1970" covered every sq ft of this city by foot, bike, or car from age 17. All these dudes were in pampers or still on the front porch we running with their pop's or went to school with their mother during our era. Back then the rappers had to go through a production company or be signed or you heard them catching wreck at local parties, clubs which wasn't often. Dudes like Da Champ, Kings of rap, Davine, and Jayquan (sicko Jay), Ronald rose "frosty t". They wasn't bringing their street homeboy's with them as you see being done today. Which I feel those street dudes of our era 80's kats missed out on the opportunity to REP "Hartford" on that local hip-hop level. It was the New York rappers that we SHINED OFF OF flexing being LIVE out on those blocks. Locally our era were left behind and were some of the livest dudes in this city and State. Dudes that was getting it in!! Dudes known for BIG weight, fighting, holding the hammer and got loot and nice cars trucks, a bunch of women. We all DRESSED NICE having the flyest gear and GOLD standing out nobody looking bummy back then. Blue hill ave dudes, Albany Avenue dude, Nelton court dudes, Ville dudes, Bush garden, Hunington st dudes, Adam st dudes, Cabot st dudes, edgewood st dudes, west land st dudes, Barbour st dudes, chapelle dudes, Belluvue square dudes, Irving st dudes, Charter oak dudes, enfield st dudes, Magnolia st dudes, Bedford st dudes, Deerfield st dudes, oakland terrace st dudes, lenox, sigourney st dudes, south marshall st dudes. They missed out on getting into rap videos during our prime and era's. Dudes shining holdin it down reppin "Hartford" it would of Added alot of value to those videos seeing dudes like Fu, Monster, Ave-ave, Yump (rip), DMC, Pony, Horse, B-boy, The young brothers big ray-ray, Compton, big mark, big ed, B-y, Art-la- rock, Troy artist, John money, lil dino intelligence, Runny ray, Jay money, kenyahota, Mutta and brother mental mike, lennesy "rip", Toby, Strength "Trevon", Harvey "Breaker", Mike boston, Terry synpe and cuz Frank Darby, lil mikey, gike, kent, Del "rip" mapp Ant Hampton "rip" lil Tiger, Fat pockets "rip", Chan "rip", Buck, Lil man, Chad, Keith Blunt "rip", purp, Mega, Kal, TY nelton court, Trenny, Kenny parker, Fruit, Moon, Redd handed, Chilly moe, Gov, joe bummer, Flav, Mike and joe smith love lane, Fred from enfield st, Bleech, pookie countryman, leapol, brain parker, smoky, and snort, one-two, special ed, deek "rip" countless kat's that are now gone or alot older most lost their edge these days but was RAW in their prime holdin it down. I just wish I could of seen some of those dudes in local rap videos during our time flexin their cars, gold, gear reppin our city showing how we actually got down back then!!! Giving us something to look back on seeing our generation again in the future through those videos. It's all new faces today but I ain't mad much love and respect! Technology is in their favor in their prime. They walking and chilling, repping in the very same spots we did for decades doing what we did. All new faces but i'm sure I know I know their families went to school with their mother or father or they know my fam we heavy in Hartford to this very day hundreds of lil cuzs scattered making their own noise in those streets of "Hartford". even did the rap thing 2010's repping their era "lambo dee dee so it goes on generation to generation! Someone need to pay tribute to those 70's and 80's Hartford dudes still around; rounding them all up make a rap video with them giving them flowers carrying a street Hartford legacy filling that missing gap of the golden era folk of the heartbeat on a local level old heads Original gangsters that paved the way for future generations on all levels!

New Haven just as wild and had more bodies thru the 90s and 2000s. Now Hartford has around 40 murders a year. With 160k people thats bad. Im from New Haven, Waterbury got alot worse with shootings. It was always bad. Bridgeport violent crime is down to like 20 murders a year. People sleep on CT.
