Fuel Filter Change - Seat leon 1m / Toledo 2 / Golf 4 / Bora

In this tutorial I will replace the petrol filter for this Seat Leon 1m.
You can also use this tutorial for Vw Golf 4 and other cars in the Volkswagen-Audi Group from the same generation.
At the end I will cut open the old filter, to see how it looks inside after 40.000 km.

That style of fuse (with the sacrificial element on top as opposed to inside) is rarely seen in the States. Nicely done with the rest of the video!

good video!. after taking out the fuse, you may want to run the engine until it dies off, to get rid of excess fuel in the lines. I'd also suggest you take it easy with the piers on those clips, things will not end well for you if you damage either :)

Thanks for this good video. For 2004 VW Mk4 Golf 1.6 16v BCB engine code, the fuse box is at the same place and the same fuse needs to be removed first (as shown in this video?) Please advise.

hi. I didn't have many electrical problems with the car, just some burn fuses and the blower fan resistor problem, I made a video about it. What electrical problems did you had? Maybe I know something about it :)

Sometimes, it happens that dash light is shutting off or it dims to the lowest level. I have this problem since I bought a car. It's very annoying :(

I think your problem is with the light dimmer switch (potentiometer). You need to remove it and clean it. If this doesn't work, replace it. Mine is stuck on maximum light, so you gave me a good idea for a future video :)

Nice videos man, I also have the same car, the old 1.4 broke and now I have 1.6 motor on it. I would like to know which version is the motor, do you know where this info is on the motor?

On most cars the engine code is on a sticker (with the bare code) attached to the timing belt cover (in the left side of the engine). On some engines (like mine) you need to take the plastic engine cover off, to see the sticker. Thanks for watching!

hi. you can try to give it a proper wash with a high pressure water jet (at a car wash). after it dries out, spray some WD-40 on it. this should let you unscrew it. if it doesn't work, you can cut the hose clamp, and buy a new one.
