Hi George, very informative video, thanks. One question re priming. When you bridge the relay to prime does it automatically stop when the filter is full ?

No, it will not stop itself as I am bypassing the whole system. If you are running the priming for 1-2 minutes it will be enough.

Do you need to worry about how much fuel you have in the tank? I am assuming there is a stoppage that prevents all the fuel to drain when pulling it out?

The fuel pump one way valve will not allow fuel to flow gravitationally.

The owner's manual for my 2018 Santa Fe 3.3L (3-row) makes mention of both a 'Fuel Filter' as well as a 'Fuel Tank Air Filter' -- did you happen to replace the air filter as well?

Edit: Could you also kindly explain what you're during when you prime the filter? Is this a necessary step? Can you also prime it by simply turning the ignition to on but not starting the car?

@tresspass59 when you fit the new filter, it will be air inside the filter housing, hence air in the system, and it will require bleeding air out
