Fuel Leakage From Carburetor and its Solution.

There can be many reasons behind low mileage of a Motorcycle.One of them is leakage of petrol from carburetor. In this video I explained, different reasons behind leakage of petrol from carburetor and how to solve them in best possible way.

आपका हर वीडियो सटीक जानकारी वाला होता है। ज्यादातर मैकेनिक बेवकूफ बनाकर पैसे लूटते हैं। मेरे बाइक में भी पेट्रोल लीकेज की समस्या थी, स्क्रू टाईट करने के बाद काफी हद तक समस्या चली गई। मै फ्लोट पिन बदलवाने की सोच रहा हूं। एक बाइक मिस्त्री ने कहा कि पूरा कार्बोरेटर बदलना होगा, तभी माइलेज देगा। मै आरपीएम मीटर खरीदने वाला हूं क्यूंकि सटीक माइलेज सेट करना किसी मिस्त्री के बस की बात नहीं। अनुमान लगाने से बेहतर है कि मीटर से सही आरपीएम की जानकारी हो जाए। सही जानकारी देने की वजह से आपका बहुत आभारी रहूंगा। धन्यवाद।

I tested my Hunk's carb the same way you explained in the video and the syringe trigger was being sucked back by the float valve sealing pressure. I have cleaned and installed everything back properly but it still leaks 1-2 drop petrol through the drain tube after every ride. What to check for now?

मुझे टीवीएस स्कूटी ईएस के बारे में कुछ पूछना है मेरी गाड़ी 2003 माॅडल है उसका बेल्ट मेने चेंज करा है तो उसके रोलर भी चेंज करे है तो उन रोलर में ग्रीस लगाना चाहिए या नहीं लगाना चाहिए और उसकी गियर शाफ्ट व कल्च की साफ्ट पर ग्रीस लगाना चाहिए या नहीं लगाना चाहिए और कल्च कटोरे को पुरा खोल के साफ करने से उसके पिकअप में फर्क पड़ेगा क्या कृपया मार्गदर्शन करें ।

Very informative and helpful video...I have a wierd problem similar to what you mentioned here. While my engine is running, after sometime the rpm of the engine increases suddenly and petrol starts flowing from the overflow pipe. I cleaned the carburettor and changed the float pin, but the issue is still not resolved. Can you please help as what may be the problem?

Sir my passion has a unique leakage issue.when bike is on side stand for more than 4 hours ,when I change its position back to riding state , some petrol drain from waste pipe with pressure.on center stand no issue.i have shown this problem to 4 mechanics but no solution.Floater,Pin,needle,valve grinding already done. Sir my bike unicorn 160 give average less than 39km/l always when i check reserve to reserve but when i check from bottle test 100 or 200 ml petrol it gives 55 to 48 km /l in worst drive now there is no petrol leak smell and i cleaned my caborater as well and checked by numbers of mechanic now plz help and tell where my petrol gone plz.

Self Repair GURUji please explain if the air fuel mixture screw on the carb has any effect on the fuel economy of the vehicle. I have played a lot with my activa 3g carb air fuel screw and did not find any change in average kmpl. Its just to adjust idle mixture and has no effect when accelerator is opened. Please guide

Adjust the clutch cable properly. You should feel the tension while applying the clutch. Make sure no part is missing in the link.

Yes,it is normal. Yai ek safety feature hai. Aapki bike jub girti hai to petrol baahar aa jaata hai aur engine automatically stop ho jaata hai.

Keep the old coils safely. It can be used in future. Sometimes leaking valves or excess carbon deposits on valves too creates such problem.
