as per my experience in mumbai petrol vehicle costs about rs 7/- per km and cng costs rs 3/- per km so clearcut difference is of rs 4 if as per your calculations rs 125000/- we pay extra then still in 25000 km all cost will be recovered, in general case we keep vehicle for 5 years or till 90000-100000 km so round about 75000 x 4 = 300000 rs clear savings over cng vehicle use. even we contribute to environment clean vision for cng use that also we should not forget.

My car is 7yrs old Driven 42K Km only 6K km per year on avg. Daily running is very low There were MONTHS it was just tasting dust in garage Alpha ignis petrol MT 2017. Its mileage has dropped to 16kmpl on highways (earlier 18-20kmpl) and 15kmpl in city (earlier 17kmpl) I feel Initial cost is not the right judgement factor. CNG is a great choice because fossil fuels will elope only Petrol prices will keep skyrocketing. CNG prices may even fall down rather than going up. EV manufacturing causes much more hazard (and pollution) than entire life of ICE vehicles, so EV is not at all the future. Petrol is also not the future We already have cars that run on cng and even start on cng without needing even a drop of petrol.

मेरा अपना calculation है कि अगर आपकी daily driving 50-60 kms है और आप गाड़ी को 4-5 साल तक रखने वाले हैं तब ही आप CNG गाड़ी की सोचें... वर्ना बहुत फायदे का नहीं है. पेट्रोल गाड़ी ही फायदेमंद है!

100% Correct. I got the CNG kit installed from "Kartar CNG, South Patel Nagar, New Delhi-110008 in Hyundai i10. After CNG fitting my car is giving starting problem. The problem was told to them and even after a month of CNG fitting, they don't care and neither are they fixing it. I am very frustrating of the service of Kartar CNG. I am also facing another problem in CNG fitting after market that after running around 1900-2000 kms, the air filter gets dirty very badly and it causes instability in rpm while the throttle body is clean and the air is forced to replace the filter. This has not happened when I used to drive on petrol.

My experience with CNG is very good. In my WagonR I installed CNG kit from the market and before that mileage was not more than 13-14 kmpl coz I drive only in city( jaipur) but with CNG my mileage is around 22/kg that’s around 1.5x and also there is difference of ₹15 in the price of petrol and CNG . So I manages to save around 45-50% with CNG as compare to petrol.

The most sensible thing, that people do normally, is to buy a Petrol Car and get CNG kit fitted at the aftermarket and then update the RC of the vehicle. Decent brand kit will cost u 45-55k in the market which means a saving of 60-70 thousand in comparison with factory fitted version.

In case petrol lete to vo premium amount aap petrol bharvane me use kr skte ho aur interest bhi bachega. Second it's time consuming as well and you need to wait in queue for CNG filling . Also depends on pressure ki kitna bhara jata hai cylinder. Third apko CNG service bhi krvani padegi vo additional cost hai. Apki car ka bootspace khatam ho jata hai. Aur aage jakar mzhe lagta hai price difference aur kam ho jaega between CNG and Petrol. All thanks to Modi ji.

Bhai aapka Ganit thik nahi hai....wagon r Petrol 25 ka milege.....kaha se padha ye....overall city and highway consider karoge toh you will be getting 18 -20 whereas CNG can easily give 22 - 26. Also petrol pice in my city is 123 and cng is 68 so there is difference between petrol and cng price is 55 rupees which is worth.

Not agree with you. CNG is still better option to Petrol. In Bangalore petrol is 105 Rs per litre whereas CNG is 64 Rs per kg. Positive thing is no of CNG stations are increasing day by day.

I LIKE TO say that you are wrong if you are making like petrol prices 95-115 vary any time where you can get cng around even max at 90rs than you can go for the cng you can not afford petrol and still if you think petrol gives you exact mileage no its not. if you are using ac or speeding or maybe rash driving or any else reason mileage gonna vary too so in petrol you get huge loss but in cng you can afford. its really not good of you are not recommening cng at the age of cng growth. petrol is too costly and too much vary pricing and also mileage diff make it even more costlier.
