Fuel pump check valves

Having that issue pressure lost immediately once key is off.question you think an inlije check valve is good for this issue?

No I don't think an inline check valve would solve it. In this case we are loosing high pressure, back into the low pressure gallery. If you are loosing prime an in line check valve could work I think

Doesn’t return to the tank. Returns to the filter inlet to recycle

I’m having a strange issue the car will run fine one day and then the next act all funny. Dosnt mater what speed and dosnt matter how much fuels in the tank. The systems are like a lack of fuel engine cuts out stalls sometimes idles really rough like below 600rpms. I’m not sure if it’s the regulator or the check valve or the pump it’s self just odd it works sometimes and other days struggles

that's tuff. what kind of car and engine, and year do you have and is there a check engine light?

@@monray300 It’s a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4 V6 automatic. No lights no codes. Me personally thinking it’s the fuel pump starting to go or the regulator. Cars almost 20 years old could still be the original pump

@@ryans413 throw one on if its not too much money. A shop with some experience could take a more educated guess. or know what to test for on those.

@@monray300 Pumps about 250 and labor at a shop probably be close to 500 but if it’s gotta be done what can ya do. It’s not the fuel filter that’s been changed. Your right shops probably the best bet

I think I’m having this problem with my 07 Honda Accord 2.4, very rough starts I have to stomp on the accelerator like an old school to get it started. After warm it starts right up but after a cold night of sitting or even just sitting for about 30 minutes or longer it will struggle to start. I am starting to think I’m losing pressure and the valve is leaking internally

Does it have a check engine light on?

@@monray300 yea nothing but misfire codes… which I been addressed with new plugs, coils, battery, and CKP sensor. So this is what I am down too either fuel problem with the check valve leaking or timing chain

@@monray300 the fuel pressure kit is expensive so I’m best off letting a shop test that then go from there I guess. Love my Honda but starting issues is no fun

@@monray300 brother I have yamaha R15 version 2 bike when i put the side stand the petrol tank was sloped that time bike is running good then i will unstand the vehicle the tank was come straight that time bike was stopped 😏 problem???? What is the problem brother????
