A pc that’s 40 years old that still works is too amazing. When lots tech today can barely last a year!

I've heard of Atari Computers, but this video is fascinating to watch as a prime example diving to a whole new level! Awesome!

Very cool getting to see these vintage computers. The Apple IIe I got to use in school, but the Atari 800xl I didn't. Never seen one until this video. First computer my parents bought wasn't until 1988 and it was a Tandy 1000EX.

This video is extremely fascinating Gilby! As you were explaining the tech to us, I got a few questions in my mind. You are a few years ahead of me, so while I DO recognize the computer and tech from general knowledge, I didnt ACTUALLY use any of it. In fact, my real technological experience started in the mid 90s, perhaps 5th grade. And those were normal ass windows desktop computers. So my question is this: I understand why kids today are aware of the new things to come out because the internet is blaring in their face 24/7. KZbin. Google. Instant information. But as a kid, how did YOU know about all this stuff, and what it does? Did you guys rely on like magazines? Were there TV ads? How did you know the newest and latest camera tech or computer was coming out? How did you guys sample things in those days before deciding to buy? If not all kids had tech, who were the kinds of kids who had it?

Hi Waldo topper! Well, just out of the blue's, my mom suggested I go to this computer class from the list of available courses of the summer school paper list. From there, I wanted one. We actually went to the electronics store, where they had different brand computers on display. I would try them out there. And as far as knowing about the latest stuff, I just would walk into these store every so often. Or tv commercials or store ads

What do you think I been doing? Just because I spend 1 hour out of whole day making a video doesn't mean I'm being lazy the rest of the 23 hours

Hey Gilbert, I just noticed that at the 29:06 mark, you can hear a voice in the background saying tic tok, tic tok, let me know what you think?! Pretty interesting!!!!!
