KTM is a HIGH Revving Machine.....so, without proper maintenance. This motorcycle gets wear and tear very SOON. ishley 2nd hand mein KTM ache condition mein mil pana bahut hi muskil hai. Like YAMAHA motorcycle they're MORE RELIABLE. Even in 2nd ownership or 3rd ownership you may get good condition bikes.

Ktm brake pads are heavy on pocket. Go with Pulsar series ka pads. 220 uses same brembo calipers that come with ktm. Using pulsar disc pads wouldn't affect braking potential in any sorts. And to add a point to your list, if battery is top-notch and starter is working perfectly and if engine delays to crank up, check with Airfilter. And if problem persists even with a clean Airfilter, fuel injector has to be the culprit. Also, these FI bikes are to be checked for fuel pump noises of any sorts. Also engine noise(tappet noise, camshafts, timing chain tensioner, crank noise, etc) are to be checked. Ktm engine overhauls are a tad costlier.
