I have a really close friend whom I used to love like a sibling and he used to love me back the same way. Now things between us are different. We're not close anymore. But he doesn't admit it. I haven't studied well for the past four years. I haven't been able to focus on anything for the past four years. I wish he'd admit that it's a lost case now. Then I could get some closure and move on. He won't. He knows it hurts me. But he still doesn't want to admit that things are different. He knows that I'm suffering. But he can't let his ego down and admit things went wrong. And if I stop talking with him, he'd force all my only few friends to coerce me to talk with him again. This is a shitty cycle. But I'm going to act like I'm still his puppet. There's just one more month for the exam that changes my life. I'll put my best into it. Even without adequate preparation all these years, I'm going to cut through like a knife, feel enough to make an impact that will never be forgotten by him in his life. Wish me luck. 29 days to go for the D-Day.
