28:22 Lightening strikes at the perfect moment. I had driven to DC from western MA the day before with a group of around 6 friends and we had all stayed at a campground outside DC. We saw that rain was predicted and were hoping beyond hope that the show wouldn't be cancelled. I can still vividly remember standing in the crowd at this moment and having one of those almost out-of-body moments where you look around and think to yrself, "That really happened!" It's been almost 22 years since this show and I have told this story many times, so many times that I actually started to wonder if I had embellished it during the interim but no, it happened just like I remembered it and it was amazing. It'll always be one of my best show memories and one of the reasons why this band is so special to me.

Oh wow I did not catch that lightning strike! I just remember the threat of rain/cancellation. That was really cool timing. And we also drove down from MA!

I was there that day. Can you believe it's almost been 23 years? I missed the 2001 Fort Reno show, but was at the 2002 one (the last one). I miss these days, but I also love today. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I’ve seen fugazi pull off tricks like that several times last time when I saw Coriky Ian was singing a line about cell phones and hen he stopped and a damn cell phone went off in the audience in Harrisburg. Last year at a show I met the guy whose cell phone it was. Fugazi had an incredible sense of timing.

Thanks for uploading - was this the show with the lightning storm during KYEO? I can't find that in this one or the part 2 video. Any idea which show that was?

It was either 1999 or 2000. I went to the lighting storm show - I remember Guy saying "stop taking pictures, we can't tell if those are flashes or lightning." I stopped in DC for the show on my way back from vacation in Georgia.
