Great old film from 1968 in circulation for decades underground. Besides Ed, Ken & Tuli is Ken Pine on guitar, Charles Larkey on bass and Bob Mason on drums, saw them many times including the Fillmore East shows. Kill For Peace!

Would you mind listing all the bands you saw?
@brotzmannsax Жыл бұрын
@@sharoncrossman7188 I was a regular at the Fillmore East from beginning to end 1968-1971 and saw a hundred shows. If you have any requests, I will tell you if I saw them and how good the performance was.

These guys could really pull this off live. This has got to be from 1968.

Yeah, this is obviously not from 1966, e.g. they're quoting Hendrix they wouldn't have heard yet

Well, i am from Sweden. I actually saw this very program when it was sent. It was in 1968 not in 1966. And everyone who is checking the songs will realize that my memory is not a false memory.

Would it be possible to suggest when content is uploaded to let people know what they are listening to? It could make it easier for new fans to discover bands from the 60's and 70's. Anyway, here is the correct information. The date is May 11, 1968, and not 1966 in anyway shape or form. Interview > Foxy Lady (Instrumental Tease) > Crystal Liaison > Interview > I Couldn't Get High. Thank you for sharing on KZbin and keep up the great work.

I'd bet five yankee dollars that this was actually in 1967 because crystal liasson came out on their "It Crawled Into My Hand, Honest" which came out in 1968, and in the beginning you can clearly heart them cover foxy lady which wasn't released till 1967

@chiefmech23 This is the true alternative music. Since the emergence of Nirvana and Pearl Jam in the early Nineties (and I like both,) the alternative has become the mainstream. Ed Sanders and Tuli Kupferberg (RIP to a great man) were true artists and poets - the media would have nothing to do with them, as they were way too radical and "foul-mouthed" to present to anything resembling the mass public. But to those of us who knew, they were heroes.
@synthonaplinth59803 жыл бұрын
This is more like original punk music than alternative.
