I have definitely done the delete error many times. I love these for bonsai and mine are all full of pink blossoms. I am just waititng for the flowers to fade before I hit some repots. Your voice comes over well and the footage is great. Cheers

Ahh it’s so frustrating, yeah prunus in general are probably my favourite species of tree how ever my favourite for bonsai is junipers/ Chinese elm. I find prunus take a long time to look decent, thanks for the compliment Xavier, be sure to check in from time to time 💪🏼

Just picked up one of these after watching this video. The species is really nice. When's the right time to prune?

It depends on what you want. If you want to grow the tree out I would leave it to leaf out all year then prune back after it’s dropped its leafs, if your after keeping it compact I would say you can prune once after the first growth hardens (usually early summer) then again after the leafs have dropped in autumn 👍🏼 same rule applies for most decisions species

Very nice trees to keep for bonsai but not the easiest as they have a drink problem 😂
