Used one for all my Advertising work in London back in the 1990s....incredibly versatile camera,with the use of the front movements and bellows, you can also get a digital back and adapter for it if you hunt around.

good video, this unlike the other videos explains how the battery cartridge works, the button on the battery is the box lock, to open the shell to insert AA's - AHA!!, this is not explained thoroughly enough in some other videos, they only explain the crxxx style in the base of the body, but nice to know you CAN use AA's in this.

for anybody wondering: there are 3 generations of 680. 1&2 are powered using ni-cd powerpack but you can get battery pack for AA- unfortunately they are CRAZY expensive. 3 generation can be powered the same way plus CR123 on the bottom.

Have you any idea why the Fuji gx680 is unpopular. There are few in the USA. It seems to be one of the best made cameras of all time. Dave
