Fujifilm Instax Mini EVO vs. Mini 11 Comparison and Image Quality

Je pense que la différence entre les deux appareils est essentiellement artistique. Sur le mini evo, les images sont presque normales; alors que sur les mini 9 et 11, il y a des imperfections, qui donnent un aspect d'ancien polaroid. Il faut aussi faire beaucoup d'essais pour voir dans quelle situation ils sont les plus performants !

Great review !!! So I just got my mini evo and saw so many great reviews on it but honestly not having such a good time with since most of my pictures are coming out quite bad…. The quality of faces seems very blurry and I’m comparing it to my mini 8 and my mini 8 quality is way better yet older… any advice ? Did yours come out like that too ?

I really like the mini 11 for its capabilities of balancing the flash with their exposure which is why I think it will never be good enough for detail oriented subject such as landscape. But I like the versatility of Evo Mini therefore is there any chance to create the same look with the Evo Mini?

Is there an effective way to recreate the instax mini portrait quality on the evo for indoor photos? With the bright subject and darker background?

The one thing thats drawing me more towards rhe evo is being able to take photos without having to print them and store photos on there too, however it is about £110 more expensive. I already have a mini printer that i can print small photos from my phone so that isnt a must need from me, but that flexibility is quite tempting. I feel like i'll be slightly put off of using the mini due to fear of wasting film, but also is that one feature worth an extra £100? Im soo torn haha

@matejphoto thank you so much! I think I've changed my mind slightly and will go with the instax sq1! I've fallen in love with the original retro square style and realised that the unpredictability of the shots is really important to me. I've also found square films for pretty cheap, a pack of 20 films for £12 when they're usually £18 - £20! Very excited to get it, thank you for your advice!

Well I wasn't the one asked but .. I would definitely recommend the Evo. I recently got mine and it's super handy!!! I'm a beginner in photography but Evo manages to make my shots look good. 10/10 would recommend

Depends what you are looking for. I am assuming you have a smartphone. Do you want instax to be able to make some prints? --> Yes, the EVO Or do you want Instax to get the film experience? ---> Yes, then Mini 11 or 90
