Nice video. I als have the X-Pro2 and 35/1.4. In my experience, 1 recipe does not work on all pictures so therefore I run my Raws through X Raw Studio and make minor adjustments like push/pull or sometimes even switching film emulation. I changed a 200+ series of low light CC shots to Provia, which improved the colors and WB.

These look gorgeous. The colours just cant be matched by the competition. Real talk regarding the XPRO 2…how is the autofocus? My use case would be these examples: 1) Family photos around the house, garden and out on walks etc. with children. It did bug me that my old ZV1 got better eye sharpness than my A7iii. But, I can live without perfect eye detection. Face is good enough. But, with moving subjects…is this camera workable? 2) Vert very light client work. As a side hustle for local businesses that I already interact with through my own, separate, business. Maybe some informal, weekly social media documenting. Eg, capturing the chefs/staff in a small, Italian cafe, photographing products and staff in a pet shop with all their different services. Dogs even…and, finally, doing the same for a small country getaway. So, I imagine promoting food, services, staff and scenery. As you can see, we’re not talking sports or fast pace here. But, I wouldn’t want to waste their (or my) time with lots of missed shots. I hate the XPRO 3 screen and the price is still a little high. The XE4 is decent but still a little toy-like. Be nice to save some money on the body and focus on the lenses. The Viltrox 1.2 lenses are insane. Would be getting them for sure but I’d probably pick up a 23mm f2 for family use. The XT5 etc, I just don’t like the look. I prefer rangefinder style and shape. And for video, I’d like to pick up an FX30. So, the long and short of it is, can this camera still keep up today? Seems a great way to have a camera that can be made small for family use and then beefed up for more serious use. Thanks for your time. I’ve loved your approach and down to earth attitude for the past year. No pretentious vibes whatsoever. I also would love to try capture those movie-still photos you manage to get with this. They look superb. Cheers.

Cool, thanks. But the skintone is a little too red for my taste.
