Nice review. I too have the X100vi. Took it to the Swiss Alps last month (March 2024) in some equally snowy conditions. Loved the images I got from it in the snow, but I did not think of using the ND filter to slow the shutter speed and create an even better snow-fall effect. Great tip. I did, however, use the Fuji weather kit/filter for weather resistance and a jjc hood to keep the snow off the lens. Anyway, thanks for the preview.

Wow, amazing shots- especially that last one, you’re right: you nailed the composition! Im looking to get something a little wider for my xe-4 to complement the xf 35mm and worried 18mm might be too wide, the other option is 27mm but that’s so close to 35 that I’m worried it will be a bit of a waste! Decisions decisions…

I have the same setup. Surprisingly the 23 felt marginally too wide whereas the 27 was bang on perfect. The tt artisan 27mm is a steal

Great pictures ! How do you manage to keep 1/1000s in low light with this camera? I'd like to do that too but even at f2 / 6400 isos it doesn't seem doable. Are you raising the isos to the max? Just curious/learning, thanks.

It looks pretty crap in low light. The colours are decent straight out of camera, but what does it matter if you can edit in Lightroom and get the tone you like? I think I'm gonna sell mine and buy a Sony a7c II. It might be that I haven't got the hang of it yet, but I feel like my images look like take with an iPhone from 2015.
