These kits are my favorites! If this is your first Enthusiast build, use great caution when removing the parts from the sprues… many of the small ones tend to break regardless of how cautious you are. They are difficult and challenging, no doubt, but the end result can be awesome!

It's me again but I have to say, caught the end of this video and I want to say thank you for showing some of the models that are rare and sometimes we have to just get lucky to find. Your build videos are always great by the way. By varying your content build and/or model finds I say "kudos". You help keep the hobby going by doing this. Thanks again.

This is the kind of kit model that once you finish it, you could reassemble the real car from a crate of parts! 👍😎

Just wanted to let you know Matthew, I very much enjoyed this video. Amazing detail and the parts list is something else. The internal engine parts, although will probably not be seen, are amazing. The fun is there to be had, the build, the journey. Putting all those engine parts together is something I would have a lot of fun doing. Thanks for taking us thru it. Can’t wait to see you build it.

The level of detail in this kit is amazing! This kit has been around for a very long time, but you only see this level of detail now in the resin and 3D printed models - I mean, a crankshaft with the pistons on it?! And depending on the color you choose, it's really going to pop with all that chrome on it like the Mercedes SL roadster you built a while back.

Those from the enthusiast line are really awesome!! Some of the Testors boxings of Fujimi kits are from the enthusiast line too so that’s another way to acquire them. Really awesome kits. I built a Ferrari Daytona enthusiast and the detail was unreal.

I don,t know why somebody repond like that. I like to see those old, unique kits from the past. And sure you will build them, and make a vid of it. It is not only about building to me.Something else maybe you and more don,t know about Solex. They made after the WW2 a kind of a moped with frontwheel drive!! The engine was mounted on n top of the frontwheel and could lever a bit. A big stick was in the middle. When you wanted to ride this moped, you first make speed like a normal bike, the with the stick lever the engine to the front, under the engine was a rubber roller on a axle. That rubber roller builded up the compression and started the engine. When it was started you could move the stick forwards into a slot, than it had more weight on the fromtwheel and the engine was locked. Accelerating you did with your thumb like on a jetski. It had a 1.5 liter fueltank wich on the flat road brought you about 100km or 60 miles of distance. My granddad told me he had always a bottle of 1 liter 2 stroke fuel with him. A later model mounted that same engine on the backwheel because the frontwheel drive was a bit itchy in the winter woth snow on the roads. I don,t know or there were in the USA any motorbikes or mopeds with that same system.
