The Japanese government can't even deny that Fukushima has repeatedly caught fish with excessive levels of radioactive elements.(You can also find reports in Japan) The ocean is not Japan's sewer, it is the treasure of all mankind. If it's harmless, why doesn't Japan recycle it when it's an island nation with scarce freshwater resources. It's selfish to think economically at the expense of all mankind.

To date, there have been two Level 7 accidents: Japan's Fukushima nuclear disaster and the Chernobyl disaster. The Chernobyl disaster had already been responsibly handled and shut down by Russia, limiting its damages. Japan's Fukushima disaster is ongoing. Fukushima involves a serious of events escalating a initially lower level disaster into a category 7 disaster - due to Japan's cover up and mismanagement. With the dumping and continue manipulation of data and coverup, the Japan Fukushima disaster is likely extended into the future for generation to come, with damages beyond scientific or political manipulation.

Very good Video with the exception of some overlooked facts. 1. Discharge is not going to be over 30-40 years. Estimated 30 years is for the amount of current waste water being discharged. There is constant new water being added on and there is no guarantee that it will take 30 years. 2. Although most nations are against this, US and South Korea have basically condoned the decision of the Japanese Government. This was done with political reasons to build a barricade against Chinese Influence over East-Asia. 3. IAEA have deemed the process of treating this wastewater to be safe yet have stated that they cannot be responsible for the result which it may cause. If IAEA is so sure that this wastewater is so safe, they should also claim the responsibility for the ultimate result should this cause harm in any way no matter how long it may take. IAEA should be disbanded and criminally charged.

This analysis was so biased and superficial, it was practically Japanese propaganda. China and South Korea have been objecting to this plan for two main reasons: 1) there are other, more environmentally safe ways of getting rid of the water, but this one happens to be the easiest and the cheapest. 2) Japan wouldn't work with or all inspection teams from either China or South Korea to inspect the water, so that they could confirm the plan as well. If the "science" is so sound, then why all the secrecy?

The Prime minister's approval rating would drop, and some countries would be angry with the Prime Minister. Japan could potentially face some trade sanctions if the issue is not resolved soon. If the situation is resolved quickly, the effects may be less. However, the Prime Minister could potentially face criticism from some countries, even if they are not directly involved in the situation. - The Japanese economy may become weak as some countries stop trading with Japanese companies. - Japan may face sanctions and embargos, and it may lose some of its influence in the international community. - There could be a significant decrease in foreign investment in Japan as some countries may not consider it a reliable trade partner anymore. - The population of Japan may begin to decrease as people may no longer want to move to the region or stay there. In the worst case scenario, these events could potentially lead to a very fragile and unstable economic and political situation in Japan.

However, shellfish need to be depurated as usual because of sewage discharged into oceans. Every drop of water you consume has been used by other people and animals before you. "Biomagnification" refers to the process in which toxic or persistent chemicals gradually accumulate within the bodies of organisms in a food chain. These substances are often introduced into the environment from pollution sources, and as lower-level organisms are consumed by higher-level carnivores, the concentration of toxic substances increases. Despite tritium levels potentially meeting international standards in Japan's nuclear wastewater, there remains a potential risk of biomagnification, where toxic substances accumulate in higher-level organisms, potentially exceeding initial environmental concentrations and affecting humans, particularly at the top of the food chain.

Japan has 4-5 options to treat Fukushima nuclear waste water but chosen the cheapest and worst option. When other countries asked to go to Fukushima to investigate and collect samples to test themselves, Japan denied access. The test data provided by IAETA (or whatever the organization is called) did not collect the samples themselves. They were provided by TEPCO. TEPCO has a history of coverups, corruption and altered data to suit their needs. Also, the ALPS has had numerous failure to date. Furthermore, they claimed that the filtered water is safe to drink, why not keep it and use it themselves? Tokyo has been experiencing water shortages lately. One more thing, the international report stated that within the organization, not everyone agreed to dumping it. The organization also stated clearly that if Sh!t hits the fan, they are not responsible for this report. The organization did not consider other ways to get rid of the water. Japan had other options to get rid of the waste water, this is the cheapest way. Imagine replacing the country name from Japan to China, and what would be the US and its western allies' reactions? It's an amazing double standard here. And the Japanese government never ever releases the content of radioactive isotopes in the treated water other than tritium, if their contents are really 'negligible', why not invite scientists to monitor and publish the results?

Can’t they just pour something into the water holds that will absorb the water instead like wood chips or vomit kits.

Fantastic report.....Then why you did not mention Canada dumping same tritium into St-Laurent river every day. The water have been used by millions of Canadian and US citizens for drinking and washing. Are you paid by Chinese gouvernment?

If all other nuclear power plants released its waste water why all the hype about Fukushima's radioactive wastewater? Is it really only because it has large volumes? Or are they contaminated more than usual due to the earthquake?

Actually I'm glad this has been revealed. Nuclear energy is going to be a huge energy provider in the future. No cost should be spared in making nuclear plants safe on all fronts.... whether it be human or natural influences.

I think they should just create a controlled off-site lake to contain this water, hold and dilute it, test it, and then release it with complete transparency. Hell, let those naysayers test the diluted water themselves if they're still skeptical. This would shut everyone up if they did it this way.

Suggest japan should look for disposal well and inject the water into the well. Northsea got many well, maybe they willing to help.

It should be fine as long as there's international oversight that's constantly analyzing the release water.

In China, the Qinshan No. 3 nuclear power plant has about 143 trillion becquerels, 6.5 times the amount Fukushima plans to emit, the Yangjiang nuclear power plant has five times the amount, and the Red River nuclear power plant has four times the amount. In South Korea, the Wolseong nuclear power plant and the Gori nuclear power plant are 3.2 times and 2.2 times higher, respectively. In Europe and the United States, the numbers jump even higher. The La Argre reprocessing plant in France is 454.5 times as large. The Bruce A and B nuclear power plants in Canada are 54 times larger, and the Heysham 2 nuclear power plant in the UK is 14.7 times larger. On October 3, 2019, South Korean media reported that uranium up to 157 times the standard level was detected in 76 underground water sources used for drinking purposes. In many rural areas of South Korea, water supply is not widespread, and when the South Korean government investigated the quality of groundwater nationwide, many radioactive materials and uranium were detected, resulting in a level of 157 times the standard value, a level that could have a significant impact on health. It has been half a month since it was revealed that a fuel rod in the reactor core at the Taishan Nuclear Power Plant in China's Guangdong Province was partially damaged. As yet, the Chinese authorities have only emphasized that "no radiation leakage has occurred" and have not revealed any details. To begin with, the accident first came to light on June 14, 2021, when CNN television in the United States reported that a radiation leak may have occurred. Have you guys ever been briefed on these?

China and South Korea release tens of times the amount of tritium that will be released this time into the surrounding seas EVERY MONTH. Let's not panic.
