I worked 2 times in Khartoum in the 90ths and often had this breakfast at El-Gamhuriya Ave opposite the office. I loved every bit of it and can recommend it to everybody visiting Sudan!!

Love Sudanese ful. I used to have a neighbor that would make it for me. I think the addition of the fresh elements makes it more tasty that the Egyptian version that I had before.

So the south Sudanese kitchen is not very different to the north Sudanese, right?
@TasteofSouthSudan7 жыл бұрын
+Der Duft des Paradieses You are right LOL. Once the same country, with fusion of cultures between north and south and east and west. And I lived in Khartoum for 6yrs.

Looks so good! I’m going to try this! Where do you buy the pita bread and the beans?
@TasteofSouthSudan7 жыл бұрын
+loved2010 So the Fava beans and Pita bread I obtained from a local Arab grocery store. If you live in a major city they prob will have one; Mediterranean, Arab or Pakistani store, where you can find dried Fava beans and canned cooked Fava beans as well.

Taste of South Sudan thank you so much. I live in Dallas...I’m sure I’ll find a store near me.

Everything you're doing is not South Sudan food it's North Sudan and you are just calling South Sudan why

I was born a Sudanese. Just because my country gained a new flag does not mean the food I eat changes.

Excellent video! As someone from North Sudan, I apologise for this woman’s ignorant comment. You are just as Sudanese as we are 🇸🇩 ❤️
