Great video guy, my Btwin ultra 900cf came with mavic aksium elite wheelsets and shimano 105 set up. Finally upgraded to fulcrum racing zero, continental grand prix 4000 (2) tires and ultegra cassette, WOW....my average speed went up to 4 to 5km per hour,good aero too, my next upgrade will be aero handle bar follow by the aero saddle.

To let the tires perform even better use latex inner tubes.

And yes, while I think of it, driving in strong headwind think of your knees and elbows much as possible closer together, save a lot of energy

The next step for extra speed would be Latex tubes if you can be bothered pumping them up very couple of days

and maybe they are also less puncture protected, so, I think - regular tubes are fine :)

G Day i've just ordered a set of zero nite wheels for my CAAD12. I was after a set of bomb proof wheels for racing and general riding. Carbon wheels are scary with warping the wheels etc and zipps are pricey as. Second hand carbon wheels normally ridden to the max and risky as

@@miguelleivalegua9967 yeah highly recommended them lite, tough, durable. Ceramic speed hub. I recommend getting the full black version with the black brake track sexy AF. With a pair of tan side wall tyres 👍🚴‍♂️

The time difference is probably more due to the correct tire pressure and better rolling tires than the weight of the wheels themselves.

Get It Done don’t ride them at 30psi dude! It all depends on your body weight. I’m 88kg with the same wheel/tire setup as you and I ride between 80 and 90psi (depending on conditions) and it’s perfect. Enjoy them mate!👍🏾
