Fun fact about me: my 12th great-grandfather (born in the mid-16th century) is Fulk III FitzWarin's 12th great-grandson (undoubtedly one of many).

Things going lost in history is sad, but i suppose things can't all be saved. Faulk the III could very easily be Robin Hood, he had to come from somewhere, unless Robin Hood was just a story made up. I'd like to think it would be Faulk, seeing he could do such devilish things that he got away with. I somehow think stories came about from true happening, but changed them to suit the authors, back then, and even up until today. Nursery Rims mostly came from true happenings too. As in Humpty Dumpty...was about one of the Kings who lost his head. Lovely narrated and im looking forward to your next one. With thanks. ♡♡♡

There's certainly enough in common between Fulk III and the Robin Hood legends to say that the first inspired the second. He certainly had wits, which you would need to survive as an outlaw. Thank you so much for your kind words.
