Let's be honest. Whoever is playing the drums is just as great as bucket. Very technical, specific and solid rythmatc patterns being played on time. And thats an understatement. In fact, the communication between all voices are timed so perfectly that it all just melts into one giant river or ocean. Constantly moving. Just perfect. Especially that riff at 12:00...absoloutley breaks the sound barrier cone on that 1 downbeat... THIS IS REAL MUSIC PEOPLE!!!!! LISTEN AND FEELL THE POWER!!!

Stop and think about how much music he has made in his life and recognize the amount over all musicians in our history. This man has given us his life story in music. GOod point. People say "play mozart while studying". I tried, Mozart is great, but, listening to it for 10 times in a row, definitely makes his classics sound "worst" by each time you loop. Buckethead on the other hand... (that's my opinion, Mozart and Buckethead are great).

I like these sort of pikes from time to time, and I'd say this one is better than alot of them, but they can get old. I mean not every song can have a solo but it could really use some more personally in the drums or some lead runs over a rhythm guitar here and there. Those things are sorely missed with these pikes.

The scariest part of buckethead is bluegrass and classical might be his most disciplined genre; upon which he doesn't practice, unless he uses a time portal, nor releases much material on. He might factually be a better banjo player than an electric guitarist
@arthronson2 жыл бұрын
Talented musicians are fairly common among artistics. But the creators that follow nothing but their inner voice , if they're real lucky, just might lead to painless death. Or an outlier (a statistical anomaly). This outlier, is named Buckethead

He’s been working with a similar theme these last few pikes, and it needs to change because it is getting monotonous and repetitive. I expect a bit more sonic creativity and melodic structures as well as face melting climatic guitar solos from the master himself. Perhaps he’s content producing on his current astral plane for now.
@Explorer7662 жыл бұрын
I hear what you're saying but I think the great classical composers did roughly the same thing.
@michaelfowler88323 жыл бұрын
Not as melodic as Electrum where Bucket riffs nicely on a classic theme from Vanilla Fudge, but more so than Fogray which seems all chugga chugga rhythm and no melody at all. But my first listen is pretty good so I'll listen again.
