The skyscrapers slowly disappearing in the unstoppable growth of nature, the sky looking so unreal, like plastic - like it was meant to show how transient our world actually is. Love the album art as well as the album. This album seems pretty deep to me, actually, like he wanted to tell us a story or a message, maybe. Years ago this was the second Buckethead album i listened to, rigth after Electric Sea. Totally got me hooked on this guy. Impossible to deny this genius

This one and Condensed Chicken Noodles (first one) are in my opinion two albums that aged the best out of pre-pike era of Buckethead's discography. The chemistry between Travis Dickerson and BH is purely timeless. Sounds fresh as fuck every single time I listen to it and I don't think I've ever listened to an album that would be packed with 10/10 sexy crunchy guitar and keyboard licks as much as these two. God bless this music.
@alexmurphy52894 жыл бұрын
This album is so fucking deep and yet experimental.. It's very difficult to describe it. It's funky, it's got soul and blues but it's also gentle and beautiful... This might be bucketheads best album from an artistic standpoint. Holy shit, and I've listened to hundreds of his pikes and of course all his studio work. Mind is currently melted by this

This album is a masterpiece. The song tittles are like chapters of a novel, they tell a story, the very propably story of the makind in this planet: the grown of our race, the abuse of the mother earth, our self destruction and the birth of a new planet without humans. Of course the music helps to tell the "novel" without words, is the magic of Buckethead.

Damn! How would I be aware of such a talent without internet? I wonder... In spite of all these long, (so many times till the morning) KZbin sessions of mine, I was not aware of his exceptional existance until I coincedentally came across such ''best topten guitar shredders of all time'' list a couple days ago. Normally I dont give so much credit to those kind of ''who is better than who'' type of videos about music and musicians but, it worked good this time. I might be in a lack of following actual music scene a bit.. But still I sense such an insufficiency of publicity about BUCKETHEAD topic.

Lots of Eddie Hazel influence goin' on here and that is never a bad thing. In a perfect world he and Buckethead would be jammin' together with Hendrix, Stevie, and Tommy Bolin. My friend Mike used to go on after Brian's 'lessons' circa 1988-1989 when he was taking from Paul, lucky bastard to say the least. I can't imagine going to lessons only to be treated to a free concert each and every week!!
