personally, this would be my top 3: 1. basics- LIKE BRO THIS IS SO ADDICTING, IDK WHAT THEY PUT IN THE BEAT BUT ITS SO CATCHY, IM SPEECHLESS 2. queen of hearts- such a POWERFUL song, i love how it really shows empowerment and how they thought of using rock type music, it fits them sooooooooo well and makes it 1000x better 3. talk that talk- ITS GOOD, I LOVE THE POST CHORUS SM but honestly i was expecting more, it already grew so much on me too but i think it just needs one thing left but overall, all the other songs are great too!! (esp when we where kids), its an amazing album and we can rlly see how much effort twice puts into their own craft! :D EDIT: I CHANGED MY MIND AND I PREFER QUEEN OF HEARTS NOW OVER BASICS AND IMO ITS THE #1 BEST TWICE BSIDE EVER LOL

Since everyone's wrote down their ranks, here's mine: 1. Gone - girl like... Listen to Mina's "oh yeah~" and Jeongyeon's part man 2. Basics - like, it suits my mood no matter whenever I hear it. Chaeng did a great job in writing the lyrics. 3. Talk That Talk & Queen of hearts -of course I cant put TTT this low, but I thought of something different when the teaser came out. - Queen Of Hearts is the title track material!! 4. When we were kids -I'm a sucker of ballad and soft songs, so yes I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH. 5. Brave - I LOVE THIS SONG! Someone save me, I cant dislike a single song in this album. 6. Trouble -The first verse bro, the whole song bro... Omg (Simple talk, every songs are first for me.)

My ranking: 1. Basics : pop, but fresh, cool vibe about it it's different (Chae ate) 2. TTT : classic TWICE but it doesn't feel old or tired, love it! great energy! 3. GONE: love the darker lyrics and concept, also easy to relate to (and jihyo's HIGH note!!) 4. Queen of hearts: love the bit of rock in there, love the AMAZING vocals 5. Brave: love the vocals on this one 6.When we were kids: sweet and nostalgic, beautiful lyrics like a love letter you oneself 7. Trouble: I love the vibe of the song, it's good but the vocals are odd? sounds odd/autotuned and off, for example sana's lines

I have a theory: the album is called between 1&2 because both 'talk that talk' and 'queen of hearts' are title track worthy, I think they had a hard time deciding on the TT so they're letting us decide hence the 'tell me what you want' written on the bottom right of the album cover.
