Mundo may no longer have AP scalings, but his magic damage can still benefit from shreds and penetrations. Overall a build that works, even when a yasuo isn't inting into you. (Also Demonic helm is secretly the best melee champion item universally for its 2% burn. Even Renekton likes the item.)
