A tale as old as time. Baus ints top lane for gold and makes his opponent ridiculously strong. His lane opponent kills his whole team. The way he plays it is always top Diff. He sacrifices the rest of his team to try and be the big boy. And if he can't, then his team always loses. Makes himself uncarryable.

well arguably by inting, enemy top gets big bounty. If team (adc most optimally) gets kill on enemy top then it’s all good. But not only is Baus nearly or just as fed, he doesn’t have a bounty on him usually. So enemy team doesn’t gain much. Kinda why the inting strat works

The funniest part about Simon playing AP Jax into Mord is if he had just built normally, he would win the matchup instead of creating an unkillable raid boss that crushes his teammates with ease.

Yep, AP itemisation is garbage, achieving only 1 stat modifier that benefits Jax: Dmg. WIth AD itemisation he usually gains at least dmg and health/resistances, with a third, movement speed or cooldown reduction often also being added into the mix. I don't get why Simon is determined to play strong champs sub optimally. I guess he just needs to feel like he's innovating when he's actually doing nothing.

​@@sanjayr This isn't the problem with AP itemization in this matchup specifically. AP items give CDR and Jax's ult converts the AP into MR which is actually useful against Mord. Simon also takes Phase Rush which gives him far more movement speed than things like Black Cleaver do. So the only stat out of the list of stats you provided that he's actually losing out on is health. The problem is that this AP build is all about burst which Mord can easily absorb with shielding and healing and trade well into with his own burst and short trades. Then, if you ever try to extend the trade, you don't have enough damage and Mord's passive AOE attack causes you to lose the extended trade as well. If you build AD bruiser items and take Lethal Tempo on Jax you may lose short trades, but you crush Mord in extended trades. This is especially good when Mord tries to use his ultimate on you. Instead of being trapped in the shadow realm with Mord, he's trapped in there with you and you just kill him 1v1. So to recap, short trades and extended trades favor Mord when you build AP Jax, but AD Jax wins extended trades hard. If you don't win short or long trades, you lose the matchup. If you at least win long trades you can win the matchup if you force your advantage correctly.

I feel like he could go riftmaker and idk if he goes conqueror to win extended trades against that morde, or just build one banshees component because the difference between morde landing one ability or not in an early trade completely changes how the fight goes (because it takes him longer to build up those three stacks, added resistances, etc.) and full banshees is 120 AP, so it's still fighting for best in slot in terms of raw damage.

Garen is even more stupider as a champion. While playing Morde you have to actually land 2 out of 4 abilities which are skillshots to actually be useful while Garen's abilities aren't skillshots. It's a big difference. I mean Garen is a beginner champion while Morde isn't.

Btw if anyone wants to counter this, you just build lategame items. Skip your normal core item since you don't need the early game spike. Get a rabadon right away 1st item, and go offtank after that to consolidate your win. Don't get weak tank items since those are bad for lategame scaling currently, mainly death's dance, wits end, banshee, cosmic drive, horison focus, items like that scale well into mid/lategame.
