Today I read Gumdrop Angel, the first story in the eighth Fazbear Frights book, Gumdrop Angel. This was my first read-through of it, therefore this audiobook comes with my full reaction to the story and theories.

Also ik this might be an unpopular opinion. But I don't think ophelia is bad. Myron is. He spoils her and ophelia is never acting rude to angel. I thought Myron was bad because he was spoiling ophelia and treated angel like garbage. I don't blame ophelia for being spoiled though, she's FIVE for crying out loud!

"your audience will eat you up" is something from the beginning of the story, relevant later, but in a different way, it's as if she took that literally

Her death was so bad, it feels bad and bro,, Dominic 🥺 this story man,,, feels bad,,, real bad 😔 heck all the fazbear frights deaths are gruesome sheeeesh Scott got that amazing writing tho lmao

I'm at 1:02:07, and I don't know about you guys, but I reeeeally wanna see Myron being bludgeoned to death. Is that a bit too over the top? Likely never gonna happened, but still. (P.S. This is the first time I heared of the term "bludgeoned to death" I thought it was "hammered to death" lmao) EDIT (after I've heared the whole story): Duuuude,..this is likely the most tragic story yet! Angel literally didn't even deserved this! One thing that kinda makes this story special to me is Dominic. Because it gives the impression that not all workers at Freddie's are heartless greedy and/or clueless monsters, and some of them actually don't feel ok with it, but thay don't have a choice,...It makes the story even sadder to be honest)

i love the perspective dominic adds for all the reasons you listed. the idea that they lure in teens just looking for a part time summer job and scare them into staying once they find the true horrors makes the story feel so much more real in some ways.

@@nadeezn EXECTLY! Maybe that's what story is trying to tell lorewise: relationship worker have with the supernatural activities in Freddie's... Also, not related, but I'm just wondering; If this is a cycle in which kid eats the gumdrop nose, becames a "candy monster" before the end of the party I presume and then fazbear employees take her in for the next party, then what would employees do in this situation, where she eats the nose after the party? Ironicly enough, If Angel just didn't do anything, everything would likely turn out good for her. Bratty sister would likely die after turning into the candy creature, trauma caused by the death of his only child would likely result in Myron going in depression and soon enough would deforse Angel's mother, Angel could get money for her Dream School, maybe live perfect life while her mother die alone, or just finds another man... honestly I don't care as long as Myron suffers.... Sorry for the long massage...had a lot of thoughts to Share :)

What gives Myron the right to insert himself as Angel's dad? He needs to earn that, he can't just step into some eighteen-year-old high school girl's life and demand to be her dad.
