Andy- “Iit’s Time for the silent majority to stop being silent.” I live just outside of Portland and I think this every damn day. I’m not afraid to speak out, I’m not afraid of conflict. What I am is too busy for bullshit. Question- Where is the opportunity? Where is the fulcrum point to put pressure? How to take action and not just contribute to the the stupidity and the noise? Voting out the local leadership is a given but it seems like it’s not enough. I joined AmCon. I am excited about the potential there. You guys are making a difference in my world. Thank you.

Get off as much social media that you can. Get to know your neighbors. Save money. Buy extra food to share. Keep you gas tank and cans filled with premium gasoline. Cut back on luxury goods. Get your snow tires now. Love your friends and family. Don't waste time preaching truth to the ignorant and incapable. Get right with God. Call your Mom. All good places to start.

@@will7207 just a thought - if possible find ethanol free gasoline, sometimes it’s referred to as marine grade gas. Ethanol is hydroscopic, so it absorbs moisture, and Is what makes modern gas go bad quickly. If you’re planning to store it for a rainy day it’s worth the time invested to find it.
@will7207
@will7207 4 жыл бұрын
@@JasonWorksAlot I rotate the gas every 3 months. Jerry cans into the car, then fill the cans and top off the car. How long does marine grade gasoline last? We are all pretty screwed if we are tapping into gasoline reserves after 6 months. Then its diesel time, and I don't have a diesel vehicle. Thank you for the tip!
@JasonWorksAlot
@JasonWorksAlot 4 жыл бұрын
@@will7207 straight gasoline with no ethanol in it can last for quite a while I’m not sure of an exact number but atleast a year or year and a half for a car. Probably closer to 2 in a small engine like a generator. Yeah I agree. We’ve got two diesel trucks, and I just got a self contained transfer pump kit I can store in the one we plan to take if we’re fleeing town. in the event I need fuel in my travels if fuel stations are down there are many places that will also be shut down with big rigs parked. If it comes down to getting my family to safety I’m not against borrowing some fuel out of a parked rig. I’d consider the same thing with gasoline. Just need to be mindful of properly grounding the pump to avoid possible electric shocks.

Gentlemen, when you got to the woman's question about her being alert, and her husband not on the same wavelength... And how you guys are aware that being a woman in the world is a DIFFERENT awareness than being a man, particularly in the danger department. VERY TRUE. Since high school, I've tried to walk tall, look around, be aware, BECAUSE women are smaller and weaker... So true. The view of the world is much different. And, I respect you and men like you.

This was a good one for so many reasons. I appreciate the humor, the ideas, the honesty. I value authenticity & transparency. That’s what I look for first in a person I’m going to take advice or guidance from on the internet. I vet the fuck out of everyone I may start listening to. These two guys, among others, are the real deal. When it comes to where my $$ goes... •Black rifle coffee is my coffee. (How could it *not* be? That shit is amazing!) •USCCA has my back. (Tim Kennedy won my trust in them) •AmCon is my trusted community. •Kill Cliff products are on my list of shit I need to try. •Special Operations Warrior Foundation has my full support. ( specialops.org ) Everything else in my sights is still not 100% convincing so it’s an ongoing process. Money is tight for me. I need to know that when I send it, that it has real, verifiable value. Open to suggestions as to who else I can support with confidence.

From my experience with a dad that was in prime beef during the SAC days, the decompression that you guys mentioned about with vegging out and stuff is very familiar with me. We never went camping, fishing happened every once in a few years (and that was after my dad retired mind you), never went to events with large groups of people. The only times that my sister and I did get to do those things were when we joined CAP and started doing crowd control at air shows and doing other things.

Listening to these two talk about the suicide topic is very insightful for people that want to understand or haven’t really had any experience with it and relatable as someone that’s lost close friends as well as had to go thru those dark spots in the past I can definitely see that they get it and as far as things you could have or should have said/done to help or maybe prevent certain things from happening as simple as it sounds talking does help in those dark times I’d say a good majority of people just need someone that can talk to yes there are cases where the person has spent too much time in that spot that they just want it to end which is understandable but a simple call or anything to let the person know they’re not alone goes a long ways speaking from experience one of my friends called me one night to see what I was up to and I told them they instantly called me and helped talked me down a few months prior I helped this same friend the same way because they were in a similar situation so talking does save lives Thanks you Andy and Mike for another awesome podcast can’t wait to see what’s next

You know immediately when you meet the person you were meant to be with. And it's usually not what you expected. Keep your mind open!

@@xunheilvsnipezx3324 that’s not the key either brother! My ex took my meds and put me in the garage on a mat with puke and shit all over me and continued to take my meds in front of me and then tell me it’s all in my mind.

Redo this show after each of you have 3 divorces. No matter what you think a relationship is totally different for your wife than it is to you. SF is one of the best divorce generators ever invented. People think when you come back from deployment it's down time. Usually it's schools time. So there is no down time. Everybody says communication, but the goal is trust. Your milage may vary.

"Keep your world small." Andy you really helped me and my wife process this shit show since March 2020 when you were on JRE. Mike keep flying close to the sun. You are kicking the Hornets nest and it's time someone with chops did it.
