Why don't these people just take the children with them to buy balloons, or ice cream, or whatever??? It doesn't make sense to expect children to stay where you leave them - they don't have the same concepts of time and space as teens and adults. Also ... I couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor sweet kindergarten teacher who kept saying, "Let's have a parents' meeting first" while the mean mothers kept ignoring her ... lol ... and the domineering mothers were singing a different tune after their children got evicted from the Li people dem school ... kml

The emphasis on what the FL is wearing and how that reflects the husband's status is fascinating. There's no sense that the woman dresses the way she wants for herself, or that her husband might be able to appreciate her person without the fancy clothing.
