Just got my R a couple weeks ago and have been ripping it around my part of Florida (Perdido Key), the beaches are cool, but i'd be lying if I said I'm not a little jealous of the riding terrain you have! Keep up the content! Not sure if your little one is old enough to ride, but by 2 & 6yo daughters have me rip them around non-stop, I actually took some tennis racket wrap and made them some grips to hold on to on the inner part of the bars, works great!

I've been thinking about doing something like that for my kids. They also LOVE riding on the front and the bars can get pretty hot or cold depending on the weather. I'll have to go get some tennis wrap. Great idea!

Hek yeah dude. You're riding that thing around in my old stomping grounds when I was in high school me and my buddy used to ride Our Honda groms up there. And get yelled at by mountain bikers. I guess that's the main benefit of one of those bikes. It's not a Dirt. Bike so you know it's whatever haha Enjoy that thing and have fun while there's still legal ambiguity. I'm all for it. I'm personally not a fan of the way people close everything down. But as a mountain biker myself I also know that dirt bikes destroy trails so it's a real dilemma

My biggest complaint of electric is you can’t just fill a can and ride all day. And they are fairly limited in power and range with the potential to overheat. Buttttt. I can circle wheelie in the backyard with no complaints. You can ride on the golf course sidewalk and not ever got caught (I would never jump a sand trap or ride in the rough …) And zero maintenance compared to a 2 stroke. I just can’t wait til batteries are cheaper. Or we implement hydrogen fuel cells. Or nuclear power idk.

There are definitely pros and cons! I just look at it as the electric bike isn’t here to replace gas bikes-at least not yet. They serve different purposes and are both a lot of fun! I’d recommend getting one and seeing how and when you use it. I think you’ll be surprised how often you find yourself on it. I jump on mine at least once a day. Which wasn’t the case with my gas bike. That’s why I love it so much! Full day in the desert, mtns, track… take your gas bike. I’d your just wanting to rip around town, ride trails for a couple hours, or have a little pit track near you, take the electric.
