After a mastectomy 10 months ago and lymph node removal in march. I've had allsorts of problems and horrendous pain. Nobody warned me, told me to expect it, let alone how to ease it. Thankfully I have finally realised what it is and then found you. For the first time in months I can feel my arm and am free of pain. Thankyou,ore than you know, thankyou x

I didn't know what was wrong but two and two together and found these videos too. I had two partial mastectomies and they took my lymph nodes out of both arm pits. I never knew the effects of the surgery until now. It's awful

Thank you, this is lovely. I have been using this several times a week and it really helps with fibromyalgia symptoms. I have memorized but I still come back as it forces me to be patient with my body and not rush. I noticed that I have a tendency to sweat more as I am doing this, I figured this must be the lymph nodes speaking to me. awesome, thank you, gratitude!

I’d highly suggest taking magnesium glycinate supplements, along with D3 and K2, and then also look into wild yam cream and oil packing, specifically with castor oil. All of these things for fibromyalgia. Good luck 💜

My ex boyfriend spent time in the hospital and he said they gave him lymph clearing massages every other day. So he asked if he could give me one because it will boost my immune system and it's just good for your health. He massaged me from head to toe in one direction from core to finger tips and from core to toes. He said all the bad energy and toxins have to go out through your ties and finger tips. He did the whole thing backwards! And my lymph system was stimulated alright. I got so sick!! My hands and feet swelled up from built up lymph fluid and he pushed the fluid into my feet and hand with his massage. Never get a massage from an amateur. I don't know if he did it wrong on purpose - he was evil like that - or if his hospital massages were done by incompetent nurses but I'll never get a message from anyone but a trusted professional.

It sounds like he had good intentions but definitely did not do a service to you. If it makes you feel any better every time I have tried to move my own lymph and was certain I was doing it properly. I get an infection of sorts whether it be viral or just get sick so I don’t do it anymore, and I would be nervous to even have it done by professional because of the fact That I always get sick after the slightest movement .

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 *🌍 Overview of the lymphatic system and its importance* - The lymphatic system supports the immune system and detoxification by transporting proteins. - Issues with the lymphatic system can lead to swelling, infections, or illnesses. - Tips to maintain a healthy lymphatic system include staying hydrated, exercising, and lymphatic drainage massage. 01:36 *🙌 Starting the lymphatic drainage massage routine with the abdomen* - Begin by stimulating deep lymph nodes in the abdomen through gentle presses and deep breathing. - Move on to stimulate lymph nodes in the head, neck, and armpits using gentle circular motions. - Focus on the groin area to complete the stimulation of major lymph nodes in the body. 05:37 *🤲 Continuing the lymphatic drainage massage routine on the head, neck, and face* - Move lymphatic fluid through facial and neck vessels by gentle strokes from ear to neck. - Work on different sections: middle face, sides, cheeks, under eyes, forehead. - Clear lymphatic pathways by reversing the movements and ensuring fluid flows towards target lymph nodes. 09:12 *🙆♀️ Progressing to the arms with lymphatic drainage massage* - Start at the trunk and abdomen, directing movements towards the armpit lymph nodes. - Segment the arm into upper arm, elbow, lower arm, hand, and fingers for effective drainage. - Emphasize the importance of directing fluid towards the armpit for optimal lymphatic flow. 15:58 *🦵 Transitioning to the legs and completing the full-body lymphatic drainage routine* - Focus on the lower body, targeting the groin lymph nodes with downward movements. - Clear pathways in thighs, knees, lower legs, and feet to stimulate lymphatic flow. - Ensure circular movements behind the knee and upwards from the ankle to knee for comprehensive drainage. 26:03 *🦵 Concluding the leg lymphatic drainage massage routine* - Start by moving back up the leg, from the lower leg to the thigh, following the direction of lymphatic vessels. - Ensure to work around the knee and stimulate lymph nodes behind the knee. - Finish by completing circles in the groin area to stimulate lymph flow. 28:03 *🦶 Continuing the leg lymphatic drainage massage routine on the other side* - Begin the routine on the lower abdomen and work downwards towards the groin, following the lymphatic flow. - Progress to the thigh, knee, lower leg, and foot, focusing on directing fluid towards the groin lymph nodes. - Conclude by ensuring comprehensive coverage and wrapping directional movements around the leg areas. 32:39 *🌟 Completing the full-body lymphatic drainage massage routine* - Finish the entire body lymphatic drainage routine with the legs, ensuring symmetrical coverage on both sides. - Conclude the routine with deep belly breaths to aid in relaxation and complete the massage session. - Emphasize the importance of following the directional flow of lymphatic vessels for optimal detoxification and immune support. Hi! Quick question! Does it not matter the movement of your hands and the number of times you do each in a section? Movement of hands would be because the lymph nodes run in different directions and in order to open them up you would have to do little L’s (and to make sure it’s in three exact movements push in/up/release). Your video is just showing to do it carelessly (not in a bad way) where as the way I’m talking about is more defined in the three steps. Number of times would be 5-7 always at major lymph points. 5-7 when working down the body, and ONLY 2 times when working way back up, except when at major points? Just wanted to see if you were just doing a quick run through and not being elaborate or if you were taught as if it didn’t make a difference?? Thank you!!

What about the role of muscle contraction through regular exercise on the lymph flow, lymphatic system, lymphatic drainage? Is it more relevant compared with a manual lymphatic drainage alone? Also, what about breathing practices like pranayama, what about a good balance between sympathetic and parasympathetic systems in relation to lymph flow and drainage? I mean, perhaps MLD is a "symptomatic" segmented manual way to address lymph towards discharge points. Instead exercise, breathing and balancing awareness practices (symp-/parasymp- athetic nervous system) are a kind of "embedded" automatic way to facilitate the natural lymph flow through the body. Thank you :)

Thank you so much for your videos. Is doing the full body laympathic drainage massage benefits when you have cold symptoms or it can make it worse? I read that having a massage should be avoided when you are sick with flu/cold but not sure it also applies to lymphatic drainage massage? Thank you❤
@martialartspracticevids877510 ай бұрын
Longtime massage therapist here-massage or lymphatic drainage can definitely make cold/flu symptoms worse but can also help clear the waste products of the immune system’s response more quickly so you MUST hydrate after the treatment to help your body process the bad stuff out! So, avoid bodywork if you are not prepared to feel a bit (or a lot) worse the next day, but hydration can help alleviate this to a degree
