I did my head studs in like 2 days, it wasnt too bad and the total was probably like 450 with all new valve seals, oem headgasket, arp head studs, map tensioner covers, and some other new stuff that was cheap like chain tensioner

Why why man....just get an Type R and call it a day my brother. I had it amd as much as I loved the car, the engine is not a platform to play with...too weak. I couldnt trust putting those mods on a 1.5 and feel safe about it. Love your channel, I will always support bro. Blessings

@@blahbaconblah That only happens when you use garbage parts and a garbage tune, not in this case.

@@Dimelowcrew All con rods have a set strength. Exceed that strength and the rod bends or breaks. Does not matter what other "garbage parts and garbage tune" you have on the vehicle. Those bent rods will make some neat coffee table legs or something though. K20c1 is only like 4k. Seems like a better rout to me.

@@blahbaconblah I get what you’re saying but you’re acting like he’s making 400-500whp. He’s only making 310whp he’ll be just fine. The K20C1 is obviously a superior engine, but if you push its limits of course it’ll blow like any other engine. The L15 can hold 300whp pretty reliably meaning his rods will be fine, they wont bent lol
