This wild ride transforms a classic 1972 Camaro into a modern road course beast. Built for our friends EBC Brakes, it is brimming with cutting-edge performance upgrades and sleek aesthetics.
Under the hood, our Camaro boasts a custom Small Block Chevy built by Engine Power that pumps out over 700 horsepower in a naturally aspirated package.
What better way to achieve weight reduction and improved aerodynamics than with carbon fiber? We’ve swapped out the stock steel panels and trunk lid for custom-made carbon fiber ones.
Performance at the track? With better weight distribution and a significant drop in overall heft, our Camaro is primed for sharper turns and faster lap times. Not to mention, it looks absolutely killer with those slick carbon fiber touches highlighting its classic lines.

I have to agree with others.... Cutting up an original gen ll Z28? As nice as this one "was" to start with, this should have been a restoration not a distruction.... Up side, it makes the rest of them worth that much more.....😊

Anybody else remember when they had good informative hosts? Doing the main hoop, he says the total length it needed to be, and then 0 about figuring out the bends or anything else involved..... or hey, lets make a bracket, I'll just head over to my plasma table...so relatable 😂 Weird build, put all that good stuff on the front, move the motor, but then stick with leafs in the back?

That's what I was trying to figure out. If I was putting all this money towards a complete conversion I would throw a 4 link at it. Granted I've never installed one, but everyone I know says a 4 link is better then leaf spring with traction bars.

Hate to see such a solid camaro butchered like this mainly because the split bumper is my favorite of all the camaros. We've all seen much worse classic cars brought back to full glory and this one was perfect for a restoration or resto-mod but not this.

Could it also be worthwhile to strengthen the circumferences of the attachment points of the front end lower support arms, i.e. holes that are only factory-drilled into the old front frame beam into the frame, for example by just welding thick washers, i.e. brads, over the holes as reinforcement.

Man, I had a 72 dark green camaro with the black landeu top back in like 1987- 1992 or so? Biggest regret I've ever had was selling it. Wonder if that's my old one? Sad thing is though is that I don't have any of the info on it. Got lost in the 5 moves and 2 marriages over the last 35 years.

Another beautiful rare classic destroyed by some idiots. If your gonna build a race car don't use something that is desirable to put back on the road use something that nobody wants to ever put back together and make nice again. I still can't believe you cut up a split bumper Z28camaro ..... bad move guys. Seriously bad carma.
@kajpirinen1831
@kajpirinen1831 Күн бұрын
Why you didn't make / weld that safety cage symmetrically tubes inside the car? That kind of safty cage you made asymmetric does not support the car frame evenly and therefore enables the car frame to live differently, especially in tight curves, depending on how the car turns and leans in different directions when driving.

You ran fuel lines next to the driveshaft, the transmission, the bell housing. Pretty sure that will fail tech inspection. A driveline failure could rupture those lines and cause a massive fire. Bad, bad idea.
