That windshield looks tough, so many opportunities for a mistake, but your experience really showed and paid off clearly. I always prefer build videos to just recaps of the completed model. I learn a lot more by watching.

Great build, Sir!! I think the format of this video is great, beginning to end style, unpacking to finished model. Interesting for old people like me, who have never been even close to a resin kit, but slowly starting to consider it. I think videos like this are increasing the interest for resin kits, showing that they are not that much different to build than plastic kits after all. Seven weeks of hard work and dedication, nice job, James!!
@ScaleModelExperiment4 ай бұрын
Thank you Wiggo, these high end resin kits really aren’t bad to build. You just have plan ahead only do things once if you can. Nothing worse than airbrushing 1 piece because you forgot about it.

Great colour choice! Way better than the usual red seen on Ferraris. I also like the format of this video, but as a suggestion, if you've already done an unboxing video, I personally don't see the need to re-do it at the beginning. That time could be better spent on other items of interest - like windscreen wiper construction :) I'd like to see you build that supercharged MR-2 I spied on the background shelf. No one ever does car videos on subjects like that - usually they keep going for the supercars ;) Anyways, I really enjoyed this build video and am looking forward to seeing more

Hi, nice work! Am I wrong or you don't show how you put the decals and the clear coat on top, right? I saw that you first applied two coats of 2K clear coat, do you use it as a base for the decals? I would like to know what type and brand of paints you use for primer, basecoat and 2K paint. Thank you.
@ScaleModelExperimentАй бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching the video. I like to apply decals over basecoat and then clear over the decals. For that car I used a custom mix of Tamiya LP white mixed with Tamiya LP white pearl. It’s a very subtle pearl white. I currently use 2k from Spraygunner.com no-name brand.

Great video, love the kit! I think of bying it, i see in local(ish) store 4 in stock ;) Just a question: do you build several models at the same time (while paint is drying or so of other car)? :D
@ScaleModelExperiment2 ай бұрын
I recommend the PZY version of this kit. I try to work on just one at a time. This one took about 6 weeks to finish. Which is 2 weeks longer than normal for me.
