1:13:37 I know it’s to late to update this but in a full flow case I always plug up the pump outlet AND the corresponding inlet in the case. The pump housing doesn’t make a perfect seal and the oil coming back into the case will drain through the gap, depending on the case you can see a bit of a pressure drop. Also for priming the oil before starting I use a modified power steering pump on a drill to push a ton of oil through the system. Also I love the case paint and I never thought of putting sealant on the other side of the case (thanks for that!)

Looking good 🎉 I have seen engine builders dunk the pistons in a bucket of oil before assembly. I lightly oiled the rings on the last 1600 I did and it was spitting oil out the tailpipe. Then it would smoke at startup for a while. After 10,000 miles no smoke at all. Just took a while to seat. I talked to the local engine builder and he said the same thing, dry. No oil whatsoever. 🎉

@@seang7012 Late 53's were oval.. early 53 and late 52's were zwitters.. split windows with oval dash's transitional era. All good brother I love KG's btw

Yea paid 50 for the other 36 with 2 generators. so I figured it was free.....because the generator was new. and would have paid more than 50 for a new 6v generator.
