Japan's strikers are of another class entirely. Takefusa Kubo at Real Sociedad is worth easily over £30 million. Takumi Minamino won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and was Champions League runner-up. Even the domestic J.League players are good like Yuya Osako. It's a hard team to break into.

What im liking about Brendan this time round is...he seems more mature if that makes sense. Mature in the sense that it seems like he's completely honed his philosophy. Great press conference again...but there are still obvious weaknesses to be dealt with. In Europe especially. We need a proper threat from direct free kicks. We are vulnerable at corner kicks and we dont offer a great threat at corners and other set pieces. Lets see if £6m Rusty Trusty offers that.
