Despite all his flaws and insecurites, he's great at making connections to new people. He's good at making people open up to him and he makes friends easily, even your other social links in class 2-F, Kenji and Kazushi, is friendly with our resident goofball with how he interacts with them in the cultural festival cleanup. For someone like Chidori who is afraid to get close to people, no one else is better at getting her to open up and get close to her than the Ace Detective host of Believe It or Don't himself, Junpei 'Da Man' Iori.

I don't deny that he is an astonishingly talented VA, however the lengths he has gone to try and reverse the consequences he deserved for his actions is just sad. We as individuals who grew up with him voicing our favorite characters now need to deal with the cognitive dissonance surrounding his situation, and it's turned into a cycle putting people down over what is true regarding his situation. It's so much wasted energy. If he is knowingly stringing along people, that's what makes the situation so much worse and why I just cannot feel the way I did before anymore when I heard his voice bring life to such iconic characters. As a sucker for happy ending I like this because: YES! CHIDORI LIVES! FUCH YEAH!! But from a poetic and thematic point of view, I don't like this for two reasons: - Her death is what completed Jumpei's character arc, and her surviving just undermines that. - Same as P5 theme is "Justice" and P4 theme is "Truth", I believe the overarching theme of P3 is "Death", the permanency and inevitability of it. Her reviving is a way of saying that Death is neither permanent nor inevitable, which I believe is simply untrue. But, then again, as a sucker for happy ending I say: FUCK YEAH! JUMPEI x CHIDORI FOREVER!

I thought it was a neat hidden ending to the story. But her dying had so much more impact and made so much more sense in the flow of the story. After you see this ending, you never see or even hear about Chidori again. Which just makes it kind of odd.

Thing is even in the original you could save Chidori, in OG you just had to push Junpei to go see her every time the option was given, so this isn't neccesaraly "new", however the is no way to save Shinji, as he was never intended to survive hence how he was represented at the end of the story. That's why some people, incuding me, didn't like that P3P gave female MC the option to save him, his death sucks and hurts I agree, but given the moral of this game, as well as what his death meant for Akihiko and Ken, it's just an example of someone who just had to die, sad as that may be.

3:31 I don't know if it's Atlus being lazy or if there was a political pressure behind it...but in the original Junpei actually takes hold of Chidori's bleeding hand and presses down on the wound...I don't know why in the world they changed it here...the scene feels unnatural to me with him just standing there.

It's not just this scene Reload in general has less expressive animations than FES/OG Reload also follows P3 Portable's script which doesn't have him do that because of it's Visual Novel style presentation
